It’s tucked away on Al Nasr Street in the Arabiya district, second floor of what looks like a pretty typical residential building. But you know what? Sometimes those unassuming places turn out to be exactly what you need, and this one’s got that 8.7 rating for good reason.

The thing about staying here is that you’re actually living like a local for a few days, not just passing through in some sterile hotel bubble. The apartment itself is surprisingly well-kept – I mean, it’s nothing fancy, but everything works and it’s genuinely clean. The owner clearly cares about the place, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re dealing with vacation rentals in Egypt. What really won me over was the neighborhood vibe. You’re in a proper Egyptian residential area, so mornings you’ll hear the call to prayer mixing with kids heading to school and the occasional motorbike puttering by. It’s authentic without being overwhelming, if that makes sense.

Here’s the practical stuff that actually matters: parking isn’t a nightmare like it can be closer to the marina area, and you’re still only about a 10-minute taxi ride from the main tourist strip along the Red Sea. The building’s pretty quiet – I was worried about noise since it’s right in the city, but the thick walls do their job. Check-in was straightforward too, though make sure you’ve got the owner’s WhatsApp number handy because that’s how most communication happens. One small thing – the water pressure’s decent but don’t expect luxury hotel standards, and like most places in Hurghada, you’ll want to stick to bottled water for drinking. The AC works well though, which is honestly the most important thing when you’re dealing with those scorching afternoon temperatures. What I really appreciated was having a proper kitchen setup, because let’s face it, eating out for every meal gets expensive fast, and sometimes you just want to grab some fresh bread and cheese from the local market and have a quiet breakfast. The location puts you close enough to authentic local spots – there’s this little ahwa (coffee house) just down the street where you can get proper Egyptian tea and watch the neighborhood unfold. It’s not going to win any design awards, but for the price point and that surprisingly high rating, Apartment 4 delivers exactly what it promises: a clean, comfortable base that lets you experience Hurghada beyond the resort bubble.

  Very good location, clean, has everything you need for a short stay. Very pleasantly surprised. Will be back again for sure! Great value and amenities.

  Booked at the same day as we check-in, got response quite fast and quickly collected the keys, the owner also lift me back to hotel for my luggage it was very nice gesture.
  Very safe place, there is new 3 cameras close to the entrance. Neighbourhood is very nice, everyone is very friendly but also don’t bother You like in hotel areas… There is groceries, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, barber and basically all the shops You’ll need very close by on the next street.
  There is washing machine in apartment, but we found a laundry place very close by and quite cheap too..

  Alles funktioniert, Geräte, Klimaanlage und der Rest, Sie können direkt in den Wohnungen rauchen, gute Lage und sehr niedriger Preis! Sehr guter Besitzer, er löst alle zusätzlichen Wünsche oder Fragen sehr schnell, spricht Deutsch und Russisch!

  Es ist ein schönes Apartment in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft, nur 5min mit dem Taxi zum Zentrum Hurghada und 3min zu nahegelegenen Stränden.
  Restaurants, Cafes und Lebensmittel Markets sind in direkter Umgebung.
  Danke an den tollen Gastgeber der bei jedem Anliegen und Uhrzeit zur Verfügung stand.

  L'emplacement mais surtout la disponibilité de l'hôte. Un conseil, demandez lui de venir vous chercher a l'aéroport, car c'est une expédition à lui tout seul!😅 L'appartement est très agréable et bien situé, un petit supermarché juste en dessous pour le nécessaire. Franchement parfait pour une arrivée en Egypte
  
  What could be improved: Rien, il faut se mettre à la mesure de l'Égypte. Les équipements de salle de bain sont fragiles, et la literie pourrait être renouvelée, mais ce sont des détails. Très bon séjour chez Zahem.

  Un appartamento sufficiente per 2 persone o piccola famiglia nel mezzo fra la parte vecchia e moderna della città.
  
  What could be improved: Nella descrizione è indicato il forno microonde, non esistente. Non volevamo cucinare le cose per pochi gg che ci siamo rimasti dentro ma solo di scaldare i cibi già pronti o prefabricati, e le pentole e padelle erano sporche di incrostazioni mentre prodotti per pulire i piatti, come anche shampoo, gel ed altre cose mancavano ed abbiamo dovuto comprare tutto, compreso la spugna per pulire i piatti. Trovato un solo asciugamani ed abbiamo richiesto un'altro che ha portato dopo. Per un appartamento prenotabile per pochi gg questi devono essere prodotti essenziali perché non avrebbe senso comprare tutto ciò per pochi gg di permanenza.
  Non funzionava la TV che abbiamo dovuto lasciare sempre accesa su indicazione del padrone perché accensione/spegnimento non funzionavano, così come cambio canale dal telecomando che non andava e dovevo ricercare a mano sul Decoder a ricercare i canali musicali o in inglese fra centinaia disponibil maggior parte lingua araba.
  
  Ma la cosa peggiore è che vi era una perdita di acqua di scarico della doccia sin dall'inizio e segnalandola al proprietario siamo rimasti senz'acqua dal secondo giorno fino la fine della permanenza prima per la riparazione e poi per la continua perdita dell'acqua che ci ha lasciato senza aqua nell'appartamento per tutta la permanenza. Abbiamo usato 2 volte il bagno di un altro apartamento del padrone che invece di spostarci lì ci ha lasciato 2 volte le chiavi e dovevamo passare per le scale su e giù per andare al bagno e fare la doccia. Insomma una vacanza che non auguro a nessuno. Siamo riusciti a fare la doccia 3 volte in 9 gg per questo motivo ed abbiamo usato la carta igienica, che abbiamo comprato anche noi perché non c'era, come tovaglioli e stracci, per lo stesso motivo.
