Okay, so here’s the thing about Hurghada City Apartment2 – I know the name sounds a bit generic, but honestly, don’t let that fool you. This place is actually a gem tucked away on البحر street, and after staying there twice now, I can tell you it’s one of those spots that just gets everything right.

The location is what really hooked me first. You’re literally steps from the Red Sea, and I mean you can smell that salty breeze the moment you walk out the door. The building itself has this clean, modern feel – not flashy, but you know it’s well-maintained the second you step into the lobby. What I love is that it’s positioned just far enough from the main tourist chaos on Sheraton Road that you actually get some peace and quiet, but close enough that you can walk to all the good restaurants and dive shops without breaking a sweat. The check-in process was surprisingly smooth both times I’ve been there, which honestly isn’t always a given in Hurghada.

The apartment itself – well, this is where they really shine. The space feels bigger than you’d expect, with these large windows that let in tons of natural light during the day. I’m usually pretty picky about cleanliness, and I was genuinely impressed with how spotless everything was. The kitchen is actually functional (not just for show like some places), and the air conditioning works properly, which trust me, you’ll appreciate when those summer temperatures hit 40°C. What really stood out though was the attention to little details – decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and surprisingly comfortable beds. The balcony has this nice view where you can catch glimpses of the sea between buildings, and it’s perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks.

The area around the apartment is what locals call the “real Hurghada” – you’ve got families living their daily lives, small grocery shops where the owners remember your face after a couple visits, and street cafes where you can get proper Egyptian tea for practically nothing. There’s a reliable pharmacy about two blocks away, and the Marina Boulevard is close enough for evening walks but far enough that you don’t get the constant noise from tour groups. Parking can be a bit tight during peak season (January through March especially), but the building has a small lot that usually has space. The 9.7 rating this place has? Yeah, I actually believe it – it’s one of those rare situations where the photos don’t oversell the reality, and the host clearly cares about maintaining standards.

  5 minutes from the centre, clean and spacious, shops nearby. I would definitely book it again and the host is a very nice reliable person

  I liked everything. The apartment is spacious, has a large fridge, pots, pans, cutlery and also a washing machine. The wifi works fine. I liked the hospitality of Mr. Hazem, the host. He did everything he could to make me feel welcomed and safe, being helpful the whole time I was in Hurgada. He also helped me when I told him that I needed diving equipment. The location is also good, there are many shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets just a few meters from the property. There is a family beach at a 10 minutes walk from the building ( 20 Egyptian pounds entrance fee) Also a few hundreds meters from the apartment there are the famous Arabia Azul and the Sunny Days El Palacio coral reefs ( there is an entrance fee) Thank you Mr Hazem from my wonderful stay!

  I loved staying at Hazem’s apartment. If you love experiencing local culture, this is the right place. An independent apartment with all facilities. Just a few km’s from famous Sheraton Street and 15/20 minute walking distance to Marina. Good value for money. Hazem was very attentive and helpful with everything during my stay. I’d definitely stay again. Thank you.

  Everything was really good. The location is very good and provides easy access to nearby markets, coffee shops and close to the sea. The apartment was cozy and fair clean, privacy was considered and Hazem is a nice host. Strongly recommended and sure it will not be my last time.
