You know what struck me first about Hurghada Cosy Apart? The name actually fits – and that’s rarer than you’d think with these smaller places along the Red Sea coast. I mean, when you’re walking up to that first floor apartment on Royal Beach Al Ismaileya, you’re not expecting anything fancy from a 3-star spot, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about how they’ve set this place up.

The location is honestly pretty sweet if you know Hurghada at all. You’re right in that sweet spot where you can actually walk to decent restaurants without dealing with the chaos of the main hotel strip, but you’re not stuck out in the middle of nowhere either. I loved that I could hear the Red Sea in the morning – not crashing waves obviously, since it’s pretty calm here – but that gentle lapping sound that reminds you why you came to Egypt’s coast in the first place. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home that they decided to rent out, which I guess is exactly what it is. There’s real furniture, not that generic hotel stuff, and honestly the kitchen setup is way more functional than most places bother with. You can actually cook a proper meal if you want to save some money or just got tired of hotel food.

What really gets me about this place is that 9.3 rating – I was skeptical at first because, well, everyone inflates these things, right? But after staying there, I actually get it. It’s not trying to be something it’s not. The owners clearly put thought into the little things that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently (tested it during those afternoon hours when everyone’s online), there’s proper hot water pressure, and they keep the place genuinely clean without that overwhelming chemical smell some places have. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the bed was actually comfortable – like, properly supportive, not just soft. You’d be surprised how many places get that wrong.

The area gets a bit busy during peak season, obviously, but it’s not the kind of tourist madness that makes you want to hide in your room. I found myself hanging out on that little balcony space quite a bit, especially in the evenings when the temperature drops and you can see people walking along the beach access points nearby. If you’re planning to explore Hurghada properly – maybe hit up some of the diving spots or check out the old town – this works really well as a base. You’re close enough to everything without paying those premium beachfront prices, and parking isn’t the nightmare it can be closer to the marina area. Honestly, for the price point and what you get, especially if you’re the type who wants a real local feel rather than the resort bubble experience, this little apartment delivers in ways that surprised me.

  We spent 4 days and 3 nights in a cozy apartment that had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and the little terrace overlooking the patio was a lovely touch. The garden area was beautifully maintained, with lush grass, vibrant plants, and a few sparkling clean pools. But the real gem? The private beach with its deck—perfect for unwinding and soaking in the stunning turquoise waters.
  
  Another pleasant surprise: most of the local supermarkets and restaurants kept the same prices for tourists and locals alike—a refreshing change after feeling overcharged at every corner in Cairo and Luxor!
