So I stayed at this furnished apartment in Al Dau Heights – honestly, the name’s a bit of a mouthful, but the location is actually pretty solid if you know Hurghada well. It’s right on Al Mamsha Street, which is basically where you want to be if you’re planning to do any walking around the Al Dau area. I mean, you’re not exactly in the heart of the tourist strip, but that’s kind of the point – you get a more authentic feel without completely sacrificing convenience.

The apartment itself is on the fourth floor of Building 10, and I’ll be straight with you – the elevator works fine, but Egyptian building maintenance can be… well, let’s just say I was glad it was working during my stay. The flat is decently furnished, nothing fancy but everything you actually need is there. The kitchen setup is pretty practical if you’re planning to cook some meals (which I’d recommend, honestly – the local markets nearby have amazing fresh produce). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You know how some places in Hurghada can get pretty rowdy with tourists and traffic? This compound is tucked away enough that you can actually sleep without earplugs, which was a pleasant surprise.

The 7.7 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers on what it promises. The compound itself has that typical Egyptian residential feel, with families and longer-term residents, so you get glimpses of actual daily life rather than just the tourist bubble. Parking wasn’t an issue when I was there, though I imagine it could get tighter during peak season. The building’s pretty well-maintained compared to some places I’ve seen in the area, and the check-in process was straightforward – the property manager spoke decent English and was actually helpful with local recommendations. If you’re the type who likes having your own space to spread out, cook a meal, and just exist without hotel staff constantly around, this works really well. Just don’t expect resort-style amenities or concierge service – this is more about having a comfortable base while you explore Hurghada on your own terms.

  Die Lage war perfekt und in der Nähe vom Flughafen. Auch ein früherer CheckIn war möglich.
  
  What could be improved: Es war zu Beginn due ganze Nacht laut von der Baustelle her aber die restlichen Nächte war nichts von der Baustelle zu hören. Dafür jede Nacht bis 2/3 Uhr morgens sehr laut von oben herab. Immer wieder ein lautes stampfen und klopfen zu hören.
