You know what struck me first about Hurghada-Magawish Villa 4? It’s got this quiet, residential feel that’s completely different from the resort chaos you’ll find closer to downtown Hurghada. Sitting right on the Hurghada-Safaga Road, it feels more like staying at a well-kept family compound than a typical hotel – and honestly, that’s exactly what some travelers are looking for. The 7.3 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be a luxury palace, but it does the fundamentals really well without any pretense.

The location is actually pretty clever if you think about it. You’re far enough south to escape the hustle of the main tourist strip (trust me, that gets old fast), but you can still grab a taxi or hop on one of those shared minibuses that constantly run up and down the Safaga Road when you want to hit the action. I mean, the Red Sea is right there, and the snorkeling spots around Magawish Island are honestly some of the best you’ll find without having to book an expensive day trip. The staff seemed to know all the local dive operators too – not in that pushy commission-hunting way, but like they genuinely wanted to point you toward the good spots.

What really won me over was how the place operates day-to-day. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, parking was never an issue (which is huge if you’re renting a car to explore), and the whole property has this lived-in comfort that you don’t get at the big chain places. The rooms are clean and well-maintained – nothing fancy, but the AC works properly and the beds are actually comfortable. You’ll hear some road noise during the day since you’re literally on the main road, but it dies down at night, and there’s something oddly soothing about the distant sound of the Red Sea. The breakfast spread is pretty typical Egyptian hotel fare, but the coffee was surprisingly good, and they had fresh fruit that actually tasted like it was picked recently. Look, it’s a solid 3-star experience that doesn’t try to oversell itself – sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable base camp while you’re out exploring the underwater world that makes this part of Egypt so special.

  Villa is a decent size for a short stay only

  Toilet flush didn't work, fuse blew in kitchen and lizards crawling on walls.
  Pool is not private but shared among other villa's in the compound

  由于第二天要坐飞机，一行6人，订了这个别墅作为临时停留。 有游泳池，房子很大，有3层楼，4个房间，厕所也有3个，非常适合多人一起旅游。打uber出去海鲜市场和市中心只需要20分钟，也是很方便的。房子位于宁静的环境。
  
  What could be improved: 地址有点难找，后来房东加了联系方式发了定位。 遗憾的是房间没有吹头发的吹风机，希望改进。
