Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places along the Red Sea coast, but this villa in Sahl Hasheesh honestly surprised me – and I mean that in the best way possible. You know how sometimes you book a place based on photos and cross your fingers? Well, this one actually delivers. The sea view isn’t some distant sliver of blue you need binoculars to appreciate; you’re literally looking out over the water from your bedroom, and that private pool? It’s positioned perfectly so you can float around while still taking in the coastline.

The thing about Sahl Hasheesh that a lot of people don’t realize is how different it feels from central Hurghada – it’s this planned resort community that’s way more laid-back and, honestly, cleaner than the busier tourist strips. The Amaros 2 area where this villa sits is residential enough that you’re not dealing with constant tour groups or street vendors, but you’re still close enough to grab a taxi to the marina or hit up one of the beachfront restaurants when you want some action. I actually walked to a few spots along the waterfront in the evenings, and the whole area has this really pleasant, almost Mediterranean vibe with the landscaping and architecture.

What really got me was the attention to detail inside – the air conditioning works properly (trust me, this matters in Egyptian summers), the kitchen is actually functional if you want to make breakfast or store some drinks, and the Wi-Fi was solid throughout the villa. The pool area becomes your little sanctuary, especially in the late afternoon when the light hits the water just right. I spent way more time there than I expected, reading and just decompressing. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where everything just works the way it should, without any of those annoying little issues that can derail a vacation. Plus, the owners clearly know the area well and can point you toward the good local spots that aren’t in every guidebook. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between having your own space and being close to everything Hurghada offers, this villa nails it.

  I liked the heated pool and the equipment of the villa which is quite new. Everything was very clean, there were no bugs in the house. All well maintained. The communication with the owner is top, he organized also transportation from airport and the rental cart as well. The location is quiet with a sea view and a 3 minute drive to a pier from where you have access to do some snorkelling (you see a lot of colorfull fish there it’s amazing).
  
  What could be improved: Opposite a bit of construction noise, but really not a lot. One bathroom had quite a strong smell.
  
  Regarding the village as such: In general the whole area is still a lot under construction and there were not many tourists in the town when we were there which sometimes makes you feel a bit „lost“ in this huge area of large hotels etc

  Had an amazing stay there. Everything was perfect, and Mr Ahmed as well as the team went above and beyond to cater our needs and make our stay exceptional. The villa is relatively new and very well furnished and with an amazing beach view. Amazing hospitality and communication from the owner and the facility management team who were always accessible and eager to support. One of my fav experiences and stays so far, and definitely wont be the last time.
