Walking up to the third floor of this building on El Cornish Road, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from Hurghada Sea View Apartment. The name pretty much says it all though — you’re getting exactly what’s promised here. It’s a straightforward three-star setup that sits right across from the Meraki Resort, which actually works in your favor since you get those resort views without the resort prices. The entrance is nothing fancy, but honestly, when you’re spending most of your time exploring Hurghada or lounging by the Red Sea, you don’t need marble lobbies.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s the thing about El Dahar — it’s the real Hurghada, not the sanitized resort version. You’re in the downtown area where locals actually live and work, which means authentic restaurants, better prices, and a genuine feel for Egyptian coastal life. The Red Sea is literally right there across the street, and I mean right there. You can hear the waves from your room, which is pretty incredible for a place that won’t break your budget. The area gets busy during the day with both tourists and locals, but it settles down nicely in the evenings.

From the third floor, you get this unobstructed look across the water that changes throughout the day. Morning light on the Red Sea is something else entirely. The kitchen setup is basic but works fine if you want to grab some local ingredients from the nearby markets and cook something simple.

Practical Perks

One thing that surprised me was how easy parking turned out to be — they’ve got free spots on site, which is actually a big deal in this part of Hurghada where street parking can be a real headache. The wifi works reliably, and the air conditioning keeps things comfortable during those intense Red Sea afternoons. You know what I appreciated most though? The water pressure in the shower was actually decent, which isn’t always a given at this price point in Egypt.

  Nous avons séjourner dans cet appartement à Hurghada ! C'est un logement spacieux, traversant, avec deux balcons qui offrent une vue agréable et une belle luminosité. La cuisine est très bien équipée, ce qui m'a permis de préparer mes repas facilement.
  
  L'emplacement est parfait : à proximité du centre-ville, de la plage et du souk, ce qui rend tout facilement accessible. J'ai pu explorer la région sans aucune difficulté.
  
  Les propriétaires étaient vraiment aux petits soins. Ils étaient très réactifs dès qu'il y avait un petit problème et ont toujours été de très bons conseils concernant les activités et les lieux à visiter. Leur accueil chaleureux a vraiment ajouté une touche personnelle à notre séjour.
  
  Je recommande vivement cet appartement à tous ceux qui visitent Hurghada. C'est un excellent choix pour des vacances confortables et agréables

  L'appartement était propre (sauf tout le vaisselle), localisation n'est pas si mauvaise
  
  What could be improved: L'appartement était propre, mais toute la vaisselle dedans le armoires salle, il avait des casseroles qu'avait de l''huile dedans les armoires.
  
  En arrivant il n'y avait pas de basique comme du papier toilette et du savon dans les toilettes . Ni des produits pour faire le vaisselle, il n'y a pas de machine pour le vaisselle nom plus. Ce que justifie l'état de la vaisselle quand on est arrivé.
  
  Très difficile à trouver, sur Google on a pas la localisation exacte. Donc aucun uber le trouvait à chaque sortie, il fallait mettre le nom d'un autre hôtel proche et faire le restant du trajet à pied
