You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to the Iberotel Casa Del Mar – honestly, there are so many resorts along Hurghada’s waterfront that they all start to blur together from the outside. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It sits right on the Touristic Promenade, which means you’re literally a two-minute walk from all those little shops selling everything from knock-off sunglasses to genuinely beautiful handmade jewelry (pro tip: the guy with the small stall near the marina entrance has incredible silver work, and he doesn’t hassle you like some of the others do).

What really sets Casa Del Mar apart is how they’ve managed to feel both relaxed and well-run at the same time. The lobby has this airy, Mediterranean vibe – lots of white stone and blue accents that don’t feel overdone or touristy. Check-in was refreshingly smooth, even during what the staff told me was their busy season in March. The rooms are solid four-star quality, nothing revolutionary but everything works properly (you’d be amazed how rare that can be in some Egyptian resorts). I mean, the AC actually kept up with the afternoon heat, the shower had decent pressure, and the balcony overlooking the Red Sea made my morning coffee ritual pretty spectacular. There’s something about watching those traditional fishing boats drift by while the sun comes up that just… well, it puts things in perspective.

The real charm of this place emerges once you settle in for a few days. The pool area doesn’t feel like a zoo – they’ve got the layout right so you can actually find a quiet corner if that’s your thing, but the main pool stays lively without being chaotic. The beach access is what you’d hope for: decent sand, clear water, and enough space that you’re not playing towel Tetris with other guests. What I appreciated most was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the area – when I asked about good diving spots beyond the obvious tourist traps, the concierge gave me directions to this little outfit run by a local guy who took me to reefs I never would have found otherwise. That’s the kind of local insight that makes a trip memorable instead of just… adequate. Honestly, with a 9.1 rating, this place has clearly figured out how to balance that tricky line between professional service and authentic Egyptian hospitality without feeling like you’re stuck in some sanitized resort bubble.

  Everything about this hotel was simply exceptional—truly one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and even spoke fluent German, which was a pleasant surprise.
  
  The all-inclusive package was a fantastic choice. The service from the waitstaff was outstanding, and the hotel itself was spotless—immaculately clean in every corner.
  
  One moment that really stood out was when I fell sick late at night around midnight and accidentally blocked the sink. Within minutes, someone came to fix the issue and even cleaned the entire bathroom thoroughly. He apologized for the inconvenience, which was incredibly kind and showed how much they care about their guests.
  
  We were also pleasantly surprised with complimentary sweets and fresh fruits delivered to our room during our stay—such thoughtful gestures really made a difference.
  
  The hotel’s activities were also well-organized and enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly memorable and comforting vacation.
  
  What could be improved: The hotel food was of great quality and nicely presented, but I found it a bit mild for my personal taste, as I’m more accustomed to spicier cuisine. However, I understand this may suit the preferences of a wider range of guests.

  What could be improved: Animation team for French guests is rude and indifferent. They ignore guests of other nationalities, even do not greet. Other animation team (as I understand hotel one) are very great one, very funny and friendly.

  I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Iberotel Casa Del Mar Resort! From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally welcoming, making me feel right at home. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and every area—from the beach to the swimming pool—was impeccably clean. The hospitality throughout my stay was truly outstanding.
  
  The food was amazing, with a great variety of delicious meals, snacks, and beverages that exceeded my expectations. I’d especially like to thank John at the reception for his warm and professional welcome—it really set the tone for a perfect stay. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be returning!

  I really enjoyed my stay at Iberotel. My room was clean and comfortable and the pools area are beautiful and relaxing. The quality and variety of the food is really good. The entertainment team is friendly and organised but never noisy or disturbing. The services team is always kind and available in case of any need. The beach is a bit small but quite and relaxing and shares services with the close Jaz casa del mar resort. Highly recommended.
