You know what caught me off guard about this place? The sea view actually delivers – and I mean really delivers. I’ve stayed in plenty of “sea view” apartments where you’re basically craning your neck around a construction crane to catch a glimpse of blue, but from this spot on Sherton Road, you’re looking straight out over the Red Sea. The apartment sits right across from the Sunrise Hotel (which honestly makes it super easy to find – just tell your taxi driver “opposite Sunrise” and you’re golden), and that positioning gives you this unobstructed vista that’s particularly gorgeous around sunset.

The three-bedroom setup works really well for families or groups – I mean, you’re not going to confuse this with a luxury resort, but everything’s clean and functional in that no-nonsense way that actually makes more sense than trying to be fancy. The kitchen’s got what you need if you want to grab supplies from the local markets (there’s a great little produce vendor about two blocks down toward the marina), and honestly, having that fridge space is clutch when you’re dealing with Hurghada’s heat. The bedrooms are decent-sized, though the AC units are a bit loud – nothing that’ll keep you awake, but worth mentioning if you’re a super light sleeper. What I really appreciated was the balcony space; you can actually fit a few people out there comfortably, and in the evenings when that sea breeze kicks in, it becomes the best spot in the apartment.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the main hotel strip and restaurants, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the constant tour bus noise that some of the beachfront properties get. The whole Sherton Road area has gotten much better over the past few years – more cafes, better street lighting, and the local police presence is pretty visible, which always makes me feel more comfortable. Check-in was straightforward, though I’d recommend coordinating your arrival time in advance since it’s not a traditional hotel setup. The property manager speaks solid English and was actually helpful with restaurant recommendations, which is always a nice touch. For the price point and the genuine sea views, it’s honestly hard to beat – just don’t expect resort-level amenities, and you’ll probably end up pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and well-positioned it is for exploring Hurghada.
