You know what surprised me most about Imperial Resort Apartment XL? It’s actually tucked away in the Al Ahyaa district where you get this perfect mix of local Hurghada life without the constant tourist hustle that drowns out half the Red Sea coast. I mean, it’s still close enough that you’re not stuck taking expensive taxis everywhere, but you can actually hear yourself think in the evenings.

The apartment itself is honestly bigger than what most places call “XL” – and I’ve stayed in enough cramped hotel rooms to appreciate when someone doesn’t oversell the space. The bedroom’s got this decent-sized window that catches the morning light just right, though you’ll want to keep those curtains handy because Egyptian sun doesn’t mess around. What really got me was how they’ve set up the living area; there’s actually room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. The kitchen setup is pretty solid too – nothing fancy, but if you’re the type who likes grabbing fresh produce from the local souks (there’s a good one about ten minutes away), you can actually cook without wanting to pull your hair out.

The whole building has this sort of quiet efficiency that you don’t always find in resort areas. Check-in was straightforward, parking’s not a nightmare like some places I could mention, and honestly, the fact that this place pulls a 9.4 rating tells you something about how they run things. The neighborhood gets pleasantly quiet after the evening call to prayer, which is when I’d usually sit on the balcony with some tea and just watch the city wind down. You’re close enough to the marina area that you can walk to decent restaurants – there’s this little place that does incredible grilled fish that locals actually eat at, not just another tourist trap. And when you do want to hit the beach clubs or diving centers, you’re not looking at some epic journey across town. The Red Sea’s right there doing its thing, all those incredible blues that make you understand why people keep coming back to this stretch of coast. For a 3-star place, it honestly delivers more than some 4-star spots that charge twice as much and give you half the space.

  I fell in love with this stay! First the host was so welcoming all he cared about was our comfort and enjoyment. Second imperial's location is just genius, 8 minutes from el Gouna gates and less than 20 minutes from Downtown Hurghada. All the staff is very helpful, cheerful and welcoming especially Nabila and sayed at the reception desk. Food was great and affordable. Regarding this apartment specifically, it's strategically located near the ground floor’srestaurant and within 20 feet from the pool that offered a great view from the room. The room was spacious, with well maintained furniture, very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. We will definitely come back again.

  Excelentes instalaciones y todo muy calmo, excelente para descansar. Edificio moderno y nuevo, el apartamento equipado con todo lo necesario: dormitorio, cocina equipada, terraza y living y aire acondicionado.
  
  What could be improved: No tiene Wifi y hay que pagar para poder acceder a internet, considerar que este Resort se encuentra en lo que se conoce como Hurgada 2 y es casi el último de la avenida, por tanto, queda lejos del centro.

  Le personnel de l'accueil est accueillant et agréable ainsi que les serveurs et personnel d'entretien.. Un des serveurs parle très bien anglais (Karim je crois) et est très souriant et aidant. Le cadre est idyllique avec les 4 piscines (pas chauffées) nichées dans leurs patios, c'est très calme si vous recherchez la tranquillité car vous êtes au milieu de nul part avec la mer rouge à proximité. Pour aller à Hurghada il faut compter 20 bonnes minutes, aéroport à peu près 25. Attention à ce que votre taxi vous trouve bien, la dame de l'accueil a dû expliquer au nôtre comment nous trouver malgré l'envoi d'un point GPS.
  L'appartement que nous avions était très confortable et calme dans un coin d'un patio, avec une petite terrasse. Vous avez un restaurant dans l'hôtel, la nourriture est très bonne, ainsi qu'un magasin dans l'hôtel si vous souhaitez vous cuisinez vous-mêmes à manger dans votre appartement.
  Je recommande pour passer quelques jours de détente dans un très joli cadre.
