Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Imperial Resort Hurghada Studio on Ahyaa road, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in unassuming packages. The pool view studios here are actually pretty sweet, and I mean that in the most genuine way possible. The moment you step onto your little balcony (and I do mean little, but it’s perfectly adequate), you get this nice view of the pool area that’s way more relaxing than I anticipated. The water’s that perfect turquoise blue that makes you want to grab a coffee and just sit there for a while before the day gets going.

What really struck me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail the basics without trying to be something they’re not. The studios are clean – like, actually clean, not just surface-level clean – and the air conditioning works properly, which honestly is half the battle in Hurghada during summer months. The location on Ahyaa road is pretty smart too; you’re close enough to the action that you can easily walk to restaurants and shops, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with constant street noise. I actually slept really well here, which doesn’t always happen when I’m traveling. The beds are comfortable (not luxury resort comfortable, but solid), and the blackout curtains do their job if you want to sleep in after a late night exploring the local scene.

Here’s the thing that really impressed me – the staff genuinely seem to care about making your stay work. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or surprise charges, and when I had a question about getting to the marina area, the front desk guy gave me actual helpful directions instead of just pointing vaguely down the street. The pool area becomes this lovely little social hub in the evenings, nothing too crazy, just people unwinding and chatting. You’ll hear a mix of languages and meet travelers who are doing Egypt on a reasonable budget but still want a comfortable base. During my stay, I noticed they keep the pool area clean and well-maintained – there’s always fresh towels available and the water chemistry is spot-on. For a 3-star property, they’re definitely punching above their weight in terms of value and experience. If you’re looking for a straightforward, honest place to stay in Hurghada without breaking the bank, this studio setup really delivers on what it promises.

  A wonderful place with 5 swimming pools. Like an oasis in the desert, where you want to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and a heavenly holidays.
  
  What could be improved: My wish I already wrote to the owner that a hair dryer, iron and ironing board are needed. In addition, a clothes dryer. There is no way without it. The reception helped me out with a hairdryer and an iron, but then it turned out the manager got into trouble for this, because these were private apartments, not part of a hotel group. And also, please, replace the large ceramic pot with any other regular one, because it is very inconvenient to cook in ceramic pots on the stove. It has small handles and is very heavy. Cooking pasta and pouring out the water from was not easy. Buy a couple of regular pots. 3. After several unsuccessful connections to Wi-Fi, I went to the reception to ask how to connect? It turned out that you need to buy some special card for this. Please inform your guests that Wi-Fi is not completely free. You need to buy something extra for this.
