Hotel Description

Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of Red Sea resorts, and JAZ Aquamarine honestly surprised me. When you pull up to this place on South Magawish Road – which, by the way, is that stretch where all the newer hotels cluster together, about 15 minutes south of Hurghada’s main drag – your first thought might be “oh great, another massive resort complex.” But here’s the thing: they’ve actually managed to make this 5-star setup feel less like a conveyor belt and more like… well, somewhere you’d want to hang out for a week.

The location is pretty smart when you think about it. You’re far enough from the chaos of Sekalla and the old town that you won’t hear scooters buzzing around at 2 AM, but close enough that a taxi ride to the marina or those little seafood places locals actually eat at won’t cost you a fortune. The beach situation is what really sold me though – it’s this gorgeous stretch of sand that connects to the house reef, and I mean, you can literally walk into the water and be snorkeling within minutes. No boat trips required, which is honestly refreshing because those can eat up half your day. The coral’s in decent shape too, not like some spots where it’s been beaten to death by tourists.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually care about the details. Check-in was smooth (they had my room ready even though I showed up early), and the guy at the dive center – I think his name was Ahmed – knew the reef sites like the back of his hand. He pointed me toward this little drop-off spot about 200 meters out where the big fish hang out in the mornings. The pools are well-maintained without that overwhelming chlorine smell you get at some places, and honestly, the food was better than I expected. I mean, it’s still hotel buffet food, but they do a proper job with the seafood and the Egyptian dishes actually taste like something. The mahshi was legit.

You know what really struck me? The place has that 8.9 rating for good reason – it’s those little things that add up. The WiFi actually works by the pool, the rooms are properly soundproofed so you’re not hearing your neighbors’ TV, and they’ve got enough sun loungers that you’re not doing that ridiculous 6 AM towel rush. The housekeeping staff pays attention too – fresh towels that don’t smell musty, and they’ll actually arrange your toiletries instead of just shoving them aside. If you’re the type who gets stressed about vacation logistics, this place just lets you relax and focus on whether you want to spend the afternoon diving or just floating around with a book. And trust me, after dealing with some of the more “rustic” places along this coast, that’s worth paying for.

  Nice welcoming from Mr. Mohamed Farag well organised and kindness as he made our check in only 5 mins appreciated
  Super clean rooms, nice pools and variety of food and restaurants, too many activities from 10 am till 12 pm , I really enjoyed my holiday there and sure I will come soon again

  Everything was perfect. Amazing staff, delicious food with great quality and variety, animation team is highly skilled, the quality of night shows was superb. Snacks were also great, Mr. moustafa omar was extremely helpful and supportive. Pools were clean and aquatic games were great. Felt as if i am alone and everyone in the resort. Beach and pool bars offer wide variety of drinks with great selections of menu items…
  
  What could be improved: Nothing, but i strongly recommend to increase the chlorine levels in the main pool.

  What can I say! This was my 2nd time at Jaz Aquamarine and it just keeps getting better. From the super friendly staff at the Lobby bar especially Mohamed and Waleed who make the best cocktails and always serve you with a smile, to the kind helpful reception staff, especially Yaser who helped me with a late checkout as I had a late flight, nothing was too much trouble for him. Also can’t forget Kaled in housekeeping who made me towel sculptures every day and kept my room spotless. Finally the lovely food and staff in Makai Tukai Asian restaurant. Thank you to all the amazing staff, too many to mention. I can’t wait to go back 😘

  The staff were very helpful, starting with a smooth check-in (thanks for the upgrade, by the way)
  
  The room was nice and clean, and everything was functional and close to the relaxing pool.

  The main restaurants had a wide variety of items for each meal to fit each person's needs and wishes.

  The idea of the 2 hotels sharing their facilities is great. we haven't had the time to try them all, but maybe next time.

  What could be improved: The beach is shallow, so it's not the best option if you like the sea more than the pools. However, pools are enough. There are like 17 of them or so.

  I had a fantastic stay at this hotel – everything was simply perfect! I absolutely loved the food, drinks, rooms, swimming pools, aqua park, and all the lounges. Every corner of the hotel was impressive and well-maintained.

  My experience at Jaz Aquamarine was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and elegant. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. This resort is a true gem on the Red Sea — it exceeded all expectations.
  
  It’s hard to choose just one thing, but the endless pools, crystal-clear beach, and the top-notch food options stood out the most. The kids had the time of their lives at the waterpark, and the evening entertainment was simply world-class. Every corner of the resort radiated beauty, comfort, and luxury.
  
  Absolutely 10 out of 10. The resort was immaculate — from the rooms to the restaurants, everything was spotless. Facilities were modern, well-maintained, and always available. The attention to hygiene and detail is impressive and very reassuring.
  
  Jaz Aquamarine is a paradise on Earth. It’s the kind of place that makes you forget time exists. The level of service, beauty of the surroundings, and the variety of experiences — from relaxing at the spa to thrilling water slides — all come together to create unforgettable memories.   We have visited Jaz Aquamarine many times and each time the level of service improves more than the previous time, all the staff are smiling and friendly, everyone works on the comfort of the guests and get our holiday excellent , the number of restaurant staff is very sufficient this time. The food level is very good as usual .
  Room &pool cleaning is excellent as usual
  special and professional treatment through Mr. Ali Ramadan المحترم . He is a very cooperative and friendly person who communicates with me and the family daily to make sure that the service is provided in a distinguished manner and to solve any problem that we may face.
  Amazing stay to family .

  Everything is excellent, rooms, restaurants, bars and aqua park. The staff are welcoming and friendly especially Mr. Abdel Rahman and Mr. Mostafa at front desk, Mr. Fady from housekeeping, Mr. Samy, Mr. Shady, Mr. Khaled and Mr. Ahmed Mohamed at Topaz restaurant. It's the second time at Jaz aquamarine this year. It's my favourite place in Hurghada.
