Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to JAZ Elite Asteria on Sahl Hashish Road – I mean, you drive through what feels like endless desert stretches getting there from Hurghada’s main strip. But then you hit this oasis situation that actually made me do a double-take. The whole place sits right on this pristine stretch of Red Sea coastline that most tourists never even know exists, about 18 kilometers south of the chaos that is downtown Hurghada.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail that luxury resort vibe without feeling like you’re trapped in some sterile bubble. The lobby’s got these soaring ceilings and marble everywhere, sure, but there’s also this breeze that flows through from the sea that keeps everything feeling alive. You know what surprised me most? The staff actually remembers your name after day two – and I’m talking about the housekeeping folks, not just the front desk people who have your info right there on their screens. The rooms are spacious in that way where you can actually open your suitcase without playing furniture Tetris, and those sea-view balconies… well, let’s just say I spent way too many mornings out there with coffee watching the sunrise paint the water different shades of blue.

The beach situation is where this place really shines though. While everyone else is packed like sardines on the public beaches closer to town, you’ve got this long stretch of sand that’s basically yours – well, shared with maybe fifty other guests max on a busy day. The coral reef starts literally steps from the shore (bring water shoes, trust me on this), and I saw more colorful fish in a single snorkel session than I did in three days at other Red Sea spots. The water’s that perfect temperature where you forget you’re even swimming. Evening’s when it gets magical – they do this thing where they light up the palm trees along the beach, and honestly, it sounds cheesy but it works. Dinner at their main restaurant is solid, though I’d skip the Italian place and stick with the seafood options – they know what they’re doing with the local catch. Only real downside is that you’re pretty committed to staying put unless you want to deal with the taxi ride back to Hurghada proper, but honestly, once you settle in here, you won’t want to leave anyway.

  We had the pleasure of spending our honeymoon at Jaz Asteria Hotel in Sahl Hasheesh, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and treated with exceptional care and hospitality.
  
  A special thank you goes to Ms. Masouda and Mr. Alaa, who went above and beyond to make our stay feel extra special. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail turned our honeymoon into a magical experience we’ll always remember. From the beautifully prepared room to the thoughtful gestures throughout our stay, everything was simply perfect.
  
  The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere at the hotel was peaceful, elegant, and romantic—ideal for honeymooners. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion.

  I had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. First of all, I would like to give a special thanks to Miss Masouda for her outstanding effort and warm hospitality. She went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, and her kindness truly made a difference. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every detail was taken care of, and it made us feel right at home. The food and drinks were excellent — delicious, fresh, and with a wide variety that suited all tastes. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality was consistently impressive. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to come back again.   Amazing new hotel, spotless clean, many Pools, water park, lovely beach, nice spacious family rooms with great sea view, attentive house keeping and staff, excellent variety of 6 restaurants with very good food quality for all inclusive hotels, elite service everywhere….
  
  What could be improved: Nothing… just pool water temp is a bit cold, and still there is no jetty on the beach to cross the shallow tide part, but u can easily walk a bit with water shoes on to reach deeper water and enjoy a nice swim or snorkeling

  Our stay at Jaz Elite Asteria was truly exceptional. The kids were amazed by all the services and facilities, and everything exceeded our expectations. What really stood out was the warm and professional attitude of the entire staff — especially Ms. Massaouda, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.
  
  What made the experience even more impressive was that the hotel manager personally came to check on us during our checkout to ensure everything went well. That level of care reflects outstanding leadership and genuine attention to guest satisfaction.
