Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest with you – La Boutique Residence isn’t going to blow you away with Instagram-worthy infinity pools or marble lobbies, but there’s something genuinely likeable about this place that keeps drawing me back to Hurghada’s Al Ismaileya district. It’s tucked away from the main tourist chaos (you know, the endless parade of tour buses and souvenir hawkers), which means you actually get to sleep past 6 AM without construction noise or street vendors calling out their wares. The building itself has this sort of understated charm – I mean, it’s clearly not trying to be the Ritz, but the owners have put thought into the details. The lobby smells like jasmine instead of cleaning chemicals, and there’s usually this older gentleman at the front desk who somehow remembers your name after one conversation and will absolutely insist on helping you figure out the best route to whatever random spot you’re trying to find.
What really works here is the location, honestly. You’re maybe a ten-minute walk from the corniche without being right in the thick of things, and there’s this little side street – I think it’s called Sheraton Road, though don’t quote me on that – where you’ll find some genuinely good local restaurants that haven’t jacked up their prices for tourists yet. The rooms themselves are… well, they’re perfectly fine. Clean, decent-sized, and the AC actually works (which, trust me, matters more than fancy thread count when it’s 40 degrees outside). I’ve stayed in the ones facing the street and the ones facing the courtyard, and if you’re a light sleeper, definitely ask for courtyard-facing – there’s still some traffic noise in the evenings, but nothing like what you get closer to the main hotels. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout the building, which surprised me the first time I stayed there, and the little kitchenette setup actually comes in handy when you want to grab fresh fruit from the market and not pay hotel restaurant prices for everything.
Here’s the thing though – this place gets what it means to be a neighborhood hotel rather than a resort destination. The staff genuinely seems to enjoy chatting with guests (not in that forced hospitality way, but like they’re actually curious about where you’re from), and I’ve had some of my best local recommendations come from casual conversations in the lobby. It’s particularly nice during the shoulder seasons when you’re not competing with charter groups for attention. The 7.9 rating makes perfect sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable, well-run, and priced fairly for what you get. If you’re the type of traveler who values authentic neighborhood vibes over resort amenities, and you want to experience Hurghada beyond the all-inclusive bubble, La Boutique Residence hits that sweet spot perfectly.

Staff hospitality was great, everyone did their best to ensure a delightful stay for us.
Room was clean and met my expectations.
What could be improved: Pool wasn't very clean, no daily cleaning for the pool is made, so that's something that management has to pay attention for.
Breakfast was okay. Although, I had higher expectations.Paige from United Kingdom – 22 April 2024 (7/10)

The staff was really kind and the people really gentle, the best thing was the rooftop during the dinner, and the live music, and the chef was very young and good, his hamburger were very tasty.
What could be improved: Unfurtunatly The room wasn't very clean and around there were only big building, but for the price is goodAndrea from Hungary – 19 March 2025 (7/10)
I suddenly had to book accommodation in Hurghada, as cheaply as possible, and I chose the LaBoutique hotel. It's not the most luxurious, but the price/value ratio is really excellent. You can spend a long time here, almost for pennies, and breakfast is even included in the price. The employees are nice, Omar at the reception also helps in whatever way he can. There is a pool and a bar on the roof, which is really cool.
What could be improved: The only small problem is the elevator. It plays music. Even at night.Osama from Jordan – 1 February 2025 (7/10)

Alcohol drinks good and not expensive.
The staff make this place as always helpful with everything.

Good value for money !
What could be improved: The hotel needs some updating as parts of it look shabby! The boutique decor good taste but needs updating and some painting.
The pool is not so clean but they tried to clean it. The beds around the pool need replacing or refurbished! We did swim in it.
Still worth to stay there.Osama from Egypt – 5 May 2024 (9/10)
Staff is super friendly and very responsive
