Hotel Description
Honestly, La Casa Beach surprised me – and I mean that in the best way possible. You know how sometimes you book a 3-star place and just hope it doesn’t disappoint? Well, this little spot on Sheraton Road actually delivers way more than you’d expect for the price point. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in Hurghada over the years, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about this one.
The location is what really sold me on it. Sheraton Road puts you right in the thick of things without the chaos you get closer to the main tourist strip. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk from some decent restaurants (there’s this little seafood place called Abu Ashraf that locals actually eat at – trust me on this one), and the beach access is legit. Not one of those tiny hotel strips where you’re shoulder-to-shoulder with other guests, but actual space to spread out. The water here gets deep pretty quickly, which is perfect if you’re tired of wading forever in shallow areas like you do at some of the northern hotels.
What struck me most was how the staff actually seemed to care – I mean, really care, not just going through the motions. The guy at reception (Ahmed, I think?) remembered I liked my morning coffee strong after literally one conversation. Small stuff like that makes a difference when you’re dealing with jet lag and trying to figure out your bearings in a new place. The rooms are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but the AC works well (crucial in Hurghada summers), and you get a little balcony that’s actually usable. I spent most evenings out there with a book and whatever drink I’d grabbed from the local shop down the street.
Here’s the thing about Hurghada that a lot of people don’t realize – the Red Sea breeze can get pretty strong in the afternoons, especially during winter months. La Casa Beach is positioned so you get that cooling effect without the sand constantly blowing into your room. The pool area catches morning sun perfectly but has enough shade structures that you’re not completely fried by noon. I watched families with kids have a genuinely good time there, which says something about the vibe.
The 8.2 rating makes total sense to me. It’s not trying to be something it’s not – just solid, comfortable accommodations with people who know hospitality. You’re not getting marble bathrooms or turn-down service, but you are getting a place that feels more like staying with friends who happen to run a hotel. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you see Egyptian families at the corner café in the evenings, not just tourists stumbling between resort complexes.
If you’re looking for Instagram-worthy luxury, keep scrolling. But if you want a genuine base for exploring Hurghada’s diving spots, decent value for money, and the kind of place where you actually sleep well at night, La Casa Beach hits that sweet spot perfectly.

Clean pool and beach area. Our pool view room had a terrace open to the pool area where we could sit and have meals or coffee. Location within walking distance of center and marina. Free use of washing machines.
What could be improved: 5% charge on card payment if not usd or eur cash.Yehia from Egypt – 13 October 2024 (8/10)
Great location, amazing staff
What could be improved: It just takes ages for food and hot beverages to be served and generally not worth the money. We had to wait 40 mins for a morning coffee. Chips were alright though. No beer/alcohol served which was kinda shocking when heat hits 30+ degrees.Mohamed from Egypt – 5 October 2024 (9/10)
Very nice and cool place

The hotel has a lot of potential, all the facilities are good and the beach is really nice. The staff member were always willing to help and provide recommendations.
What could be improved: Even though the room was clean, wasn't very clean as a hotel level. You can tell that only men work at this hotel and they have no women working. I'm saying this because they are not detail oriented when it comes to clean some of the facilities. The was garbage at the beach, the plates and cutlery in the room had some stains, the outside of the garbage was also dirty and there was hair in the bathroom when we just received the room. It's clean, but nothing is impeccable as it should.Mina from Egypt – 7 September 2024 (9/10)

Good price, possibility to stay on 1 night., 5 minutes walk to Sheraton road.
