You know what? La Prestigia caught me off guard in the best way possible. I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to this 3-star spot in Hurghada, I wasn’t expecting much beyond the basics. But there’s something genuinely charming about this place that had me recommending it to everyone by the end of my stay.

The thing about Hurghada is that you’ve got these massive resort complexes everywhere, and then you stumble across places like La Prestigia that feel more… I don’t know, authentic? It’s not trying to be something it’s not, which I actually found refreshing. The lobby has this relaxed vibe – none of that stuffy hotel formality – and the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests walk through the door. Check-in was surprisingly smooth (I mean, we’ve all had those nightmare hotel arrivals, right?), and they actually remembered my name throughout the stay, which doesn’t happen as often as you’d think. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but honestly, who spends their time in Hurghada sitting in their room anyway? What struck me was how quiet it gets at night. You’re close enough to the action that you can easily grab a taxi to the main tourist areas, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant noise from beach parties and tour groups. The neighborhood itself has this local feel to it – there’s a small market just a short walk away where you can actually bargain for spices and souvenirs without feeling like you’re in a complete tourist trap.

Here’s what really sold me on the place though – the breakfast terrace overlooks this slice of the Red Sea that catches the morning light perfectly, and you can sit there with your coffee watching the fishing boats head out for the day. It’s those little moments that make a trip memorable, you know? The pool area gets busy around midday (fair warning if you’re looking for total peace and quiet), but early morning and late afternoon it’s perfect for a swim. Parking was never an issue, which might not sound exciting but trust me, it matters when you’re lugging suitcases around in that Egyptian heat. The 7.9 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. If you’re the type of traveler who wants genuine hospitality over flashy amenities, and you appreciate being able to experience a bit of real Egyptian life alongside your Red Sea adventure, La Prestigia hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Everything was super clean and the unit had everything you'd ever want and more.
  Overall, it was comfy and very good for the price.
  
  What could be improved: The place I booked wasn't actually available and the host had to relocate me in a whole different place outside the city with about 20 mins with car, yet the new place was really good and had everything you'd want with a private beach, private pools and all the facilities available nearby.

  Ev çok yeni, eşyalar hepsi sıfırdır. Gayet kullanışlı daireler. Cok rahat bir konaklama oldu benim için. Tavsiye ederim.
  
  What could be improved: Keşke ücretsiz internet imkanı olsaydı. Bu müşteri kapasitesini daha da arttırırdı. Su günlük 1 ton veriliyor. Tasarruflu kullanılırsa yeterlidir. Banyodaki duş suyu çok yavaş akıyordu. Bu sorun da çözülürse güzel olur. Misafirler gelmeden önce her yerin tozu alınırsa güzel olur.

  What could be improved: El agua no tenía fuerza, a la llegada vinieron 1h trade a darnos las llaves, no habían ni toallas ni sábanas ni papel del baño y tuvimos que esperar 1h más, nos intentaron timar con el dinero del depósito a la llegada, el baño se encharcaba cada vez que te duchabas, había hormigas en el baño. No vimos ninguna piscina
