Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about La Rosa Boho Aqua park Hotel? It’s actually got this laid-back, artsy vibe that you don’t expect from most Hurghada properties. I mean, the name totally gives it away with the “boho” part, but they actually follow through on it. The place sits right at the end of the Intercontinental Zone promenade – and honestly, that’s prime real estate because you’re close enough to all the action but far enough that you’re not dealing with the constant parade of tourists dragging their wheeled suitcases past your window at 6 AM.
The aqua park is the real star here, and it’s not just some afterthought addition like you see at a lot of three-star places. The slides are decent (nothing death-defying, but fun), and there’s this lazy river situation that’s perfect when the Egyptian sun gets a bit too intense around midday. What I really appreciated was how they’ve laid out the pool area – there are these little nooks and corners where you can actually find some peace, which is rare at hotels with water parks. The bohemian theme shows up in unexpected places too – hand-painted tiles around the pools, these really cool macramé hangings in the lobby area, and the furniture has this vintage, collected-over-time feel rather than that sterile hotel chain look.
Now, let’s be real – it’s a 7.3 rating for a reason, and you’ll notice it in small ways. The Wi-Fi can be sketchy in some rooms (pro tip: the lobby always has solid connection), and the breakfast buffet, while totally adequate, isn’t going to blow your mind. But here’s the thing – the staff genuinely seems to care, and that makes a huge difference. They know the area well too, which is clutch because this end of the promenade puts you walking distance from some local spots that aren’t on every tour group’s itinerary. There’s this little seafood place about five minutes down the beach that the front desk guy Ahmed told me about – absolutely worth it. The hotel itself handles the basics really well: rooms are clean and comfortable (if a bit compact), air conditioning works properly, and checkout was surprisingly smooth. I stayed during shoulder season in March, so it wasn’t packed, but I could see how the aqua park might get pretty hectic during peak European vacation times. If you’re looking for something with more personality than your typical Red Sea resort but don’t need five-star everything, this place hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re staying somewhere with actual character rather than just another cookie-cutter hotel.

"Although we had a few minor difficulties during check-in, thanks to the kind staff (I believe the gentleman working the night shift is named Mohamed), everything was resolved. As a bonus, we got a room with a beautiful sea view. Special thanks to the guys who made small sculptures out of towels. I was eager to see what they would create next. Kudos to them. The food was diverse, with something for everyone. I would definitely return to this hotel again."
What could be improved: "Maybe a small suggestion. Alongside the dishes, it would be helpful to write the name of some of the local dishes offered. The stuffed peppers and zucchini were excellent, but I’m not sure what the dish is called. 🙂 That’s all."Mohammed from United Kingdom – 30 December 2024 (6/10)
The staff were very approaching and enthusiastic
What could be improved: The breakfast wasn’t all that; it wasn’t cooked right, it was raw and the chefs showed no empathy at allPavel from Turkey – 14 December 2024 (8/10)
Much cleaner than other hotels in the country, shower working in a more or less stable way, much space in the room, almost no garbage near the entrance.
What could be improved: Food is not good. Only sweets make sense, other meal is not eatable so be ready to eat outside or order deliveries. Therefore, the all inclusive price (if any) would make no sense. The room internet is chargeable on top of the room price which is really strange.Mohammed from United Kingdom – 13 January 2025 (6/10)
Outdated hotel. Desperately need to improve your breakfast. Pay peanuts get monkeys. The west breakfast Iv had in a hotel for years…
What could be improved: The breakfast, the rooms. Mine smelled and the daughters someone had stayed in before, used the towels and the batnroom.!!Robert from Poland – 7 December 2024 (6/10)
What could be improved: Very uncomfortable bed, check in time more than 30 min, even no other guests waiting

Good fresh salads, great value for money

Our experience at La Rosa Boho Hotel was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the exceptionally friendly staff, who went out of their way to make us feel like the only guests at the hotel.
The food was varied and delicious, with something to satisfy every palate. Our first room had a breathtaking view of the ocean, which made for a serene and unforgettable start to our stay. The rooms themselves were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, blending comfort with boho charm.
During our stay, a minor fuss occurred on the street next to the hotel, but the hotel manager, Mr. Gharib, immediately stepped in to ensure our comfort. As a gesture of his exceptional hospitality, he offered us an upgrade to a suite, which elevated our experience even further. Mr. Gharib is truly one of the most remarkable people I have ever met—attentive, kind, and always ready to assist with a smile.
The hotel’s amenities are outstanding, with three pool areas perfect for relaxation, a shopping section for a bit of retail therapy, and plenty of spaces to unwind and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
In summary, La Rosa Boho Hotel exceeded all our expectations. It’s rare to find a place where every detail is taken care of, and every interaction feels so personal and thoughtful. Special thanks to Mr. Gharib and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return!Ahmet from Turkey – 3 December 2024 (8/10)
Rooms are very clean, people are kind. But what makes this hotel interesting is, it had the most tasty food, of all our hotels in Hurghada. Everything they had was very delicious. The Chef, Mr Abd el Nasser, is doing a fantastic job.
To explain it briefly, we were very lucky with all the 4 different hotels that we stayed in Hurgada. At La Rosa Boho, the buffet is not as big and various as the 4-5 star hotels, where you need 15 minutes to see what there is to eat, and the same things repeated in 3 different colours and 3 different shapes. At the end, it has all the same taste. At La Rosa Boho, you get from everything one, two or three sorts only, but whatever you get, it was delicious and well cooked, be it the soup, the main dishes, or the sweets (the sweets buffet, had 7-8 different sorts)
Another thing, it is 150 meters from the main street, so you don't get the hustle bustle and the noise of the center. It is a quiet location, where you can relax.
Beware of the barmen Muhammad Ali at the Lounge Bar. He calls himself Mohammad Ali Clay, and that rightly, because his special cocktail, which is a little bit sweet, can knock you down.
The reception was very helpful, allowing us late checkout for free, and Front Office Manager Mr Garib would have made much more, if we had needed it.
Thank you La Rosa Boho Team.Klára from Czech Republic – 11 October 2024 (9/10)
I really like the food, every day is something little bit different. You have 4 pools which is also nice and so crowded so you can enjoy your peace or just join the zumba time for example.
The personal is also so nice, the only problem that come up was that there is only colder water in the room, but Garid was so nice and gave us discount.
Also good to know that there is a free clinic that works with a lot of insurance agencies and you have all the drugs for free. The location was perfect for us.
