You know what really sold me on this place? Walking onto that little balcony in the morning with my coffee and actually being able to see the lagoon without craning my neck around some massive resort building. The Lagoon view 1-bedroom apartment sits right in West Golf – and I mean, if you’ve been to El Gouna before, you know that’s the sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything but not drowning in tourist crowds every time you step outside.

The apartment itself is honestly pretty solid for what you’re paying. It’s got that clean, unfussy vibe – nothing fancy, but the AC works like a dream (trust me, you’ll appreciate this in summer), and the kitchen is actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the little market down the way instead of eating out every meal. The bedroom’s got decent space, and here’s something I really appreciated – the blackout curtains actually block out light, so you can sleep in after those late nights at the marina bars. The Wi-Fi was reliable too, which… well, anyone who’s traveled in Egypt knows that’s not always a given. I did notice the water pressure could be a bit temperamental in the evening when everyone’s showering, but honestly, it’s nothing terrible.

What really makes this spot work is the location within El Gouna itself. You’re walking distance to the golf course (obviously), but more importantly, you can easily stroll to Abu Tig Marina when you want that lively restaurant scene, or head over to Downtown if you’re in the mood for something more laid-back. The whole area stays pretty quiet at night – I mean, you’ll hear the occasional golf cart puttering by, but it’s not like staying right on the main strip where music echoes until 2 AM. Plus, and this might sound small, but there’s actual parking here, which saves you from that whole ordeal of circling around looking for a spot when you rent a car to explore Hurghada proper. The building management is pretty responsive too – when I had a small issue with the safe, someone was up within an hour to sort it out. For a 3-star place, it punches above its weight, especially considering that 8.3 rating isn’t just marketing fluff – you can tell other guests have had genuinely good experiences here. It’s the kind of place where you spend your days out exploring the Red Sea or wandering El Gouna’s colorful streets, then come back to somewhere comfortable and unpretentious to recharge.
