I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Al-Dau Heights on Al Fondok street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another apartment compound in the Al Kawser area. But you know what? This little studio completely changed my mind about Hurghada accommodations. The location is actually brilliant if you know the city at all – you’re tucked away from the tourist chaos of the main hotel strip, but still close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you to the marina or the old town souk without breaking the bank.

The studio itself is… well, it’s exactly what it says on the tin, but done really thoughtfully. Everything’s compact but nothing feels cramped, and honestly, after spending days exploring the Red Sea or wandering around Hurghada’s markets, you just want a clean, comfortable space to crash. The kitchen setup is perfect for those mornings when you can’t face another hotel breakfast buffet – there’s a decent little market just down the street where you can grab fresh bread and those amazing Egyptian tomatoes. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night. I mean, you’re still in the city, so there’s the occasional call to prayer and some street noise, but the compound itself is surprisingly peaceful. The neighbors are mostly long-term residents, which gives the whole place a more authentic feel than your typical tourist bubble.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place – it feels like staying in an actual Egyptian neighborhood rather than some sanitized resort experience. The building’s security is solid (you’ll need to buzz in, which I appreciated as a solo traveler), and the guy at the front desk actually remembers your name after day one. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which anyone who’s driven in Hurghada will tell you is practically a miracle. The compound has this little courtyard area where you’ll see kids playing football in the evenings and families just hanging out – it’s that slice of real life you miss when you’re stuck in resort-land. Sure, it’s not luxury by any stretch, and the Wi-Fi can be a bit temperamental during peak hours, but for the price point and that 9.4 rating? I totally get it. You’re getting genuine local atmosphere, a really central location that most tourists don’t know about, and a host who actually cares about your experience. If you’re the type who’d rather spend your money on diving trips and local restaurants instead of fancy hotel amenities you’ll barely use, this studio hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  A lovely stay overall, with a clean and well-equipped studio, a great pool, and a relaxing atmosphere. The room was spotless and had everything I needed. Everything was in perfect working order, and the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the 24/7 security presence. I especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night—it was peaceful and calming.
  
  What could be improved: The only downside was the attitude of the security guards at the main gate. They were neither friendly nor helpful, which slightly affected the overall experience. They could really benefit from better training or should be replaced.

  Excellent location, lovely appartment, exceptional host, fast wifi, great simple accomodation, clean, very clear instructions how to get there and access the appartment (self check in at any time). I can recommend this place to everyone. There is lift, access with car to reception, the security staff is kind. There are breakfast places very near. Comfy beds. I didnt try the air conditioning but its there. I had a great stay. Thanks Mohammed.
  
  What could be improved: You need to bring your own towels and toiletries. The kitchen is not equipped very well either, just the essentials.

  I absolutely love living in this apartment! The location is fantastic, with convenient access to shops and public transportation. The apartment itself is well-maintained and modern, with spacious rooms and great natural light. Mohamed is very friendly and kind, also helpful. He made the overall living experience here truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming home.

  Location very central. Walking distance to a good selection of shops and restaurants.
  Fresh, clean, new build apartment.
  Very attentive host ready to help at any moment.
  
  What could be improved: Difficult to find the access to the apartment. Make sure to use an Uber if travelling from the airport (NOT the airport taxis).
  Shower would occasionally go cold then too hot but not a big issue.

  My stay at Mr. Mohamed's accommodation was very nice, right in the middle of everything. He was super helpful whenever I needed something. The room was very clean and comfy.

  Our host Mr.Mohamed was very welcoming and friendly, he did everything to assure we‘re enjoying our time at his place .
  The studio is all equipped, all new and clean .
  The pool was nice and clean.
  We were allowed to the parking (owner’s) which was a nice gesture and helped during the hot days.

  Een prima apartement voor kort verblijf,
  Alles netjes, schoon, bij vragen en of problemen wordt er meteen gereageerd en/of gerepareerd.
  Een prima locatie, een veilig gevoel door security in en rondom het apartement.
  Lift aanwezig en een rustig en schoon zwembad, met ligbedden, sinds deze week ook voorzien van kussens, dat was een verademing

  What could be improved: Идёт ремонт в квартирах и днём находиться в апартаментах из за звуков сверления очень сложно . И этого места нет ещё на карте, но мечеть находится рядом и это был ориентир для такси
