Honestly, when I first pulled up to Luna Blu Sea View in Hurghada, I wasn’t sure what to expect – you know how hotel photos can be misleading. But this place actually delivers on what it promises, and then some. The location hits that sweet spot where you’re close enough to the main Hurghada action but far enough from the chaos of Sekalla (the touristy downtown area) to actually hear the waves at night.

What really won me over was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about getting things right. Check-in was smooth – none of that “your room isn’t ready yet” nonsense you get at some places along the Red Sea coast. The sea view rooms are worth the extra cost, I mean really worth it. You wake up to this incredible turquoise that changes color throughout the day, and if you’re lucky enough to be there during winter months, you’ll catch those spectacular sunrises without the summer crowds blocking your view from the beach. The rooms themselves feel lived-in rather than sterile – comfortable beds (finally, a hotel that doesn’t go for rock-hard mattresses), decent water pressure in the shower, and air conditioning that actually works during those brutal July afternoons when Hurghada hits 40+ degrees.

The pool area becomes this interesting social hub around sunset – you’ll find a mix of European tourists, Egyptian families from Cairo escaping the city heat, and the occasional expat who’s been living in the area for years and knows all the best local dive spots. Speaking of diving, the hotel’s proximity to some decent house reefs means you can actually walk to snorkeling spots rather than booking expensive boat trips, though honestly, the really spectacular sites like Giftun Island are still worth the day trip. Food-wise, they do a solid job with both international options and local dishes – their koshari is surprisingly authentic, and the grilled fish comes straight from the local fishing boats. Parking isn’t an issue here (unlike some places closer to the marina), and if you rent a car to explore places like El Gouna or the desert, you’ll appreciate having a secure spot. The 9.3 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed a few nights – it’s those little touches like remembering your coffee preference and the way housekeeping times their cleaning when they know you’re at the beach that add up to something special.

  Mohammed was a great host. Our check in was until 2pm, however, we were trying to enjoy our view and leave our luggage since we arrived early.. Mohamed allowed us to drop our luggage and direct us to the beach to start enjoying our day. Pretty little and super clean apartment! Our host was the best! He was always there, If we needed recommendations and also very responsive when help needed. He was super attentive. Highly recommend!

  Absolutely great, modern apartment with all the facilities we needed! Location was also spot on, walking distance to the shops, restaurants, cafes and bakery. Apartment was on the first floor with a balcony with great view to the pool and the beach which was within 2min distance and had private restaurant/bar with friendly staff and free sunbeds and umbrellas. The beach was kept very clean and safe, water was very clean and had amazing lazur colour we did not expect! And last but not least – our host was really cool 👌🏼 We have contact through Whatsupp, got any information we asked for regarding recommended places to visit, organised trips, water sports, restaurants. He was keen to help any time and wanted to make sure our stay here is doing well. We had really great time, highly recommended!
  Ps. You can get easily from here to Orange Bay, Paradise Island, waterparks or try parasailing or quad riding on the desert, these places are really cool!

  The owner Mohammed was very nice, made sure everything was ok for us, willing to help and give recommendations. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. There is a balcony and direct access to the beach by 2 minutes walking. Amina was very nice, helpful with our luggage’s and made sure uber taxi drivers don’t charge us extra for going to the airport. There is a nice restaurant in the beach ( they only take cash), supermarkets 15 minutes walking or delivery options available as well. If you want to go to the city center is around 20 minutes by car. We really liked our stay for relaxing.
  
  What could be improved: The door of the bathroom didn’t close properly and sometimes if you are eating in the dining room and someone is inside the toilet can be a little bit uncomfortable or annoying for privacy. The sheets of the twin room were not very clean.

  Mieszkanie czyste i wygodne. Stosunek jakości do ceny jest ok. Kontakt z właścicielem bardzo dobry. W obiekcie dostępny jest basen i dostęp do plaży. Leżaki i parasole są bezpłatne, plaża czysta ale żwirkowa więc polecam zabrać buty do wody. Jeśli ktoś nie ma wygórowanych wymagań to polecam 🙂

  Sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, jede meiner Fragen wurde beantwortet. Die Lage ist perfekt für einen erholsamen Urlaub am Strand. Die Gegend ist ruhig und sicher. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß.
  
  What could be improved: Geräusche (von Klimaanlage?) sind zyklisch im Schlafzimmer mit Poolaussicht zu hören. Das Badezimmer steht nach einer Dusche komplett unter Wasser. Und sehr viele Mücken. Ich habe nach 2 Nächten um die 10 Mückenstiche im Gesicht trotz Versuche alle Mücken vorm Schlafen zu töten. Die Bettwäsche haben viele Knötchen und sind für mich leider kratzig.
  Keine Seife im Badezimmer.
