Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Luxury apartment with sea view” in the Arabia building, I wasn’t expecting much. Hurghada has tons of these places, and half the time “sea view” means you can glimpse a sliver of blue if you crane your neck just right. But this little spot on the fourth floor actually surprised me.

The thing is, apartment B414 genuinely delivers on that sea view promise. You’re facing northeast, so you get these gorgeous morning views of the Red Sea stretching out toward the horizon – I mean, you can literally watch the sun come up over the water if you’re an early riser. The building itself sits in a pretty decent spot too, close enough to the corniche that you can walk to the beach clubs and restaurants, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of motorbikes and honking that drives you crazy closer to the main strip. There’s actually a little bakery about two blocks down that locals hit up for fresh bread in the mornings – stumbled across it by accident and ended up going there every day.

What really won me over was how the place feels once you’re inside. The apartment has this lived-in comfort that a lot of hotel rooms just don’t have, you know? The kitchen’s small but functional (great if you want to grab some fresh fish from the market and cook it yourself), and honestly, the air conditioning works like a dream – which matters more than you’d think when it’s 40 degrees outside. The bedroom gets good cross-ventilation too, so even when you turn off the AC at night, you’re not sweating through the sheets. I stayed there during shoulder season in October, and the evenings were perfect for opening the windows and listening to the waves. The Wi-Fi is solid, which was clutch since I needed to work some mornings. One minor thing – the hot water takes a minute to kick in, but that’s pretty standard for this area. The building’s quiet most of the time, though you’ll hear some neighborhood sounds in the early evening when families are out and about. Check-in was straightforward, and the building manager speaks decent English, which helps if you need anything fixed or have questions about the area. For a 3-star place, it punches above its weight – sometimes you find these hidden gems that just work, and this is one of them.
