Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first pulled up to this place in Sahl Hashesh – the “Foreign Nationals Only” part had me curious, but once you’re there, you get it. It’s this perfectly positioned studio right on the beach where you can literally roll out of bed and be in the Red Sea within thirty seconds. The location is about 20 minutes south of Hurghada’s main tourist strip, which actually works in your favor because you get that pristine Sahl Hashesh coastline without the crowds that pack into the hotels closer to town.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to make a studio feel luxurious without going overboard. The space opens right onto the beach – and I mean directly, no walking through lobbies or crossing roads. You wake up to these floor-to-ceiling windows with the sea literally right there, and the sound of waves is your alarm clock. The kitchenette is actually functional (rare in hotel studios, trust me), and they’ve got this smart layout where the sleeping area doesn’t feel cramped even though everything’s in one space. The bathroom’s got a rain shower that’s honestly better than most 5-star places I’ve stayed at. You know what surprised me most? The WiFi actually works consistently, which is something you can’t take for granted in this part of Egypt.

The whole Sahl Hashesh development is relatively new compared to old Hurghada, so everything feels fresh and well-maintained. The beach here is this gorgeous stretch of sand with crystal-clear water – perfect for snorkeling right off the shore. I spent most mornings just floating around looking at the coral formations you can see from the surface. The staff genuinely seem to care about making your stay work, and check-in was surprisingly smooth (though I’d recommend having your passport ready since they’re pretty thorough about the foreign nationals requirement). The only minor thing is that you’ll want to rent a car or rely on taxis if you want to explore Hurghada proper for dinner – there are a few restaurants within walking distance, but your options are somewhat limited. That said, the peace and quiet you get here, especially in the evenings when the day-trippers have gone back to their hotels, makes it worth the slight isolation. For what you’re paying, and especially considering that 9.4 rating isn’t just marketing fluff, this place delivers on being a proper beachfront retreat where you can actually relax without feeling like you’re in the middle of a resort circus.

  Bahaa is a fantastic host. We forgot to ask him about wifi and he sent me a text message after my check-in (which costs to send to a swedish number) with all the wifi information. He helped us with everything we needed and it only took him max 30 seconds to reply to my whatsapp messages. His place is clean, fully equipped and well located by the sea in a very nice and pleasant area with a range of restaurants, shops and supermarket. I highly recommend book his place and enjoying your trip as we did.

  I’m really surprised!
  It’s a studio inside 5 stars hotel, the room is really clean and smells good, has it’s own pool towels, little kitchen, laundry and big balcony with two sun beds
  The hotel has 5 restaurants and lots of swimming pools and amazing private beach.

  Resort and beach very good.
  Appartment had all facilities but a bit tight.
  
  What could be improved: I am British and booked this appartment. My wife is Egyptian and initially, the security refused us entry because she is of Egyptian nationality. After much discussion and threats of us calling the police they eventually gave me the appartment key. The booking was for one night only!

  Perfect studio for couple , you can find all things you need for living and cooking.
