So here’s the thing about this villa in Al Ahyaa – it’s honestly one of those places that looks better in person than you’d expect from the outside. I mean, Mubarak 7 isn’t exactly the fanciest street name you’ll hear, but once you’re inside Villa 10A, you sort of forget you’re in what’s essentially a residential neighborhood about 15 minutes from Hurghada’s main strip.

The pool is actually the star here, and I’m not just saying that because it’s literally in the name. It’s this decent-sized private setup where you can float around at 7 AM with your coffee (or whatever) without some kid doing cannonballs three feet away. The water stays pretty warm even in the cooler months, which is nice because honestly, hotel pools in Egypt can be hit or miss temperature-wise. What I really appreciated was the pool area at night – they’ve got these lights that aren’t too bright, so you can actually see the stars, which you don’t get much of in central Hurghada with all the resort lighting.

The villa itself feels properly private, which is worth mentioning because a lot of these “private” rentals still have you bumping into other guests every five minutes. Here, you’ve got your own entrance, your own little parking spot (thank god, because finding parking near the Red Sea can be a nightmare), and the neighbors are mostly locals who mind their own business. The interior is what I’d call “nice enough” – clean, air conditioning that actually works, and a kitchen that’s functional if you want to grab groceries from the Carrefour about ten minutes away instead of eating out every meal.

You know what’s funny though? The 7.6 rating actually makes sense when you stay here. It’s not going to blow your mind – the WiFi can be spotty, and the hot water takes forever to kick in some mornings – but it does what it promises. The location in Al Ahyaa means you’re close enough to hit Hurghada Marina or the old town when you want action, but far enough away that you’re not hearing music pumping until 2 AM every night.

I’d say this works best if you’re planning to spend real time at the villa rather than just crashing between diving trips or desert excursions. The pool setup makes it perfect for those long afternoon stretches where you just want to read and swim and maybe order some local delivery (which, by the way, actually reaches this area pretty reliably). It’s also solid for couples or small groups who want space to spread out – the bedrooms are separated enough that you’re not listening to someone else’s phone calls all day.

  The villa was lovely and peaceful. It was really nice to have a private pool that was completely private and not overlooked by any neighbouring properties. Facilities in the property were great and it was very comfortable. Keeping the location pinned in maps made it much easier for taxis because no one knew where the villa was from the address. We wished that we had more free time to enjoy the villa. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the villa.
  
  What could be improved: We felt that the level of cleaning was lacking somewhat as the floors were very dusty and the oven wasn't clean inside. There were some very minor repairs that were needed such as broken sun loungers and drawers that we felt should have been sorted prior but nothing that would put us off staying there again

  What could be improved: Many savage cats coming from outside in the garden and quite aggressive if you don’t feed them (not the cats of the owner), so very difficult to enjoy the garden and swimming pool during the last days, we were stifled inside unfortunately.

  What could be improved: Every thing inside like was tooo old the wi-fi go off for 2 days and no one to fix it after 2 days was the same no staff to come to clean nothing only I see them when I come and after I go only the guy who’s works form he’s hard the old man in the morning every single day come to clean the swimming pool only him but nothing else from any one to bee honest if I well think to come back again I well not ganna pay all of that money for that for what I see and for what I payed toooo much I’m really sorry

  Such a BEAUTIFUL home!! Difficult to find for sure and inconvenient if we do not have our own transport. But once we have checked in none of us wanted to leave. We even cancelled one day of touring to stay home to enjoy this home. The kitchen had everything, including Nespresso machine and dishwasher. We used the washing machine twice… perfect for all our desert stained holiday clothes. The yard is the dream spot!! The fruit trees were amazing!
  
  What could be improved: Not much not to like. We were disappointed that the spa had no hot water. We thought it was a working outdoor jacuzzi. Also… We just wish there was a way to order food easily to come to the home for our meals. But our wonderful host did send his housekeeper to go supermarket shopping for our needs, and sent us an Italian restaurant menu to order from. However, we really wanted Lebanese or Egyptian food.

  We stayed here for a month and loved every minute!! It was incredible on so many levels.
  The Villa: it was exactly as the pictures and even better! The pool was very bigger than I imaged and we spent hours in it. The garden was incredible- imagine picking ripe mangos, figs, limes, guava, bananas, dates in addition to so many types of herbs…. It’s all there and ready for picking! At this point, a huge shout out to the gardener who came maintained everything outside whist we were there – Hats off Mr Abu Essa…true legend! The villa itself is huge, modern and is all air conditioned which is amazing!
  The villa team: THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!! They are Honest and have a passion to make sure everyone’s stay is memorable. I want to say a massive massive massive THANK YOU to Mr Mohamed and Mr Ahmed who were both amazing – nothing was too much and any little issues were dealt with immediately! I couldn’t ask for a better team in that respect and I highly recommend this place – absolutely a professional outfit!

  No words can describe how awesome this villa is (masha Allah). The owner and his workers are very friendly and are always active. The villa, pool and bedrooms are very clean and nice. If you visit Hurgada and you will take this villa you will not be disappointed!! Best Best Best!!!!

  Beautiful villa that exceeded all of our expectations. The bedrooms are air conditioned, clean and spacious, being away from the main Street, the villa is very peaceful and we felt comfortable throughout. The Host and his staff showed us exceptional service, and we’d like to give special mention to nassa for his kindness and the host for accommodating our requests. Can’t recommend this place enough, hopefully will be back soon.
