Honestly, when I first pulled up to these serviced apartments on Corniche Road, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place – but man, was I wrong. The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Hurghada at all. You’re literally right beside Al Arabiya Hotel, which means you get all the benefits of being on the main strip without the chaos of staying in one of those massive resort complexes. I mean, you can walk to the marina in about ten minutes, and there’s this little bakery just around the corner that does these incredible fresh croissants every morning around 7 AM.

What really struck me about these apartments is how they feel more like… well, actual apartments rather than hotel rooms trying to be apartments, you know? The kitchens are properly equipped – I’m talking full-size fridges, decent stovetops, even proper knives that can actually cut things. The air conditioning works without sounding like a jet engine (which, let’s be honest, is half the battle in Hurghada during summer). The balconies face different directions depending on which unit you get, but even the ones without direct sea views catch these amazing breezes off the Red Sea in the evenings.

You know what impressed me most though? The staff actually remember your name after a day or two, and they’re genuinely helpful with local stuff – like they’ll tell you which dive shops give fair prices or where to catch the microbus to downtown if you want to explore beyond the tourist zone. The guy at reception, Ahmed I think, drew me this little map showing how to get to that fish market near the old town where locals actually shop. Parking is easy enough – there’s space right out front, though it can get a bit tight when the weekend crowd from Cairo shows up.

The apartments get cleaned every couple of days unless you ask for more, and they’re pretty good about restocking basics like toilet paper and towels. I will say the WiFi can be spotty during peak hours (around 8-10 PM when everyone’s uploading their diving photos), but it’s perfectly fine for checking emails or video calls during the day. The water pressure is solid, and honestly, after staying in some of the fancier places along this stretch, sometimes you just appreciate the simple things working properly.

If you’re the type who needs to be entertained every second, this probably isn’t your spot – there’s no pool, no animation team, no buffet breakfast. But if you want a proper base for exploring Hurghada, diving the reefs, or just having a more authentic experience without completely roughing it, these apartments hit that sweet spot. The price point makes sense too, especially if you’re staying more than a few nights and want to cook some of your own meals. Plus, being right on Corniche Road means you’re never more than a few minutes from decent restaurants, the marina, or those little shops where you can actually bargain for souvenirs without feeling like a complete tourist.
