I mean, when you’re staying at Princess Resort in Hurghada, you expect nice accommodations, but this smart home setup is honestly next level. The duplex layout gives you this sense of space that’s rare in Egypt’s Red Sea resorts, and the tech integration is surprisingly smooth (not the clunky smart home systems you sometimes get that make you miss regular light switches).

The location within Princess Resort puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to Hurghada’s main strip to grab dinner at those great seafood places along the marina, but far enough from the chaos that you actually get decent sleep. I love that you can walk to the beach without dealing with the crowds at some of the more central hotels – mornings are particularly gorgeous when the Red Sea is still glassy and you’ve got those coral reefs practically calling your name. The villa’s setup means you can prep your own snorkeling gear or coffee without feeling cramped, which honestly makes a huge difference when you’re staying longer than a quick weekend. What really impressed me was the attention to details that matter – the Wi-Fi actually works throughout both floors, the air conditioning keeps up with Hurghada’s heat (crucial during summer months), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase.

That 9.6 rating isn’t just inflated guest satisfaction – it reflects what happens when someone clearly thought about how people actually vacation. The smart home features aren’t gimmicky; they’re genuinely useful when you’re coming back from a day of diving or exploring Hurghada’s old town and just want everything to work seamlessly. I particularly appreciated being able to control lighting and temperature from bed because, let’s be honest, after a full day in the Egyptian sun, you don’t want to fumble around with controls. The duplex design means couples or small families aren’t on top of each other, and the Princess Resort setting gives you access to resort amenities while maintaining that private villa vibe. It’s pricier than your average Hurghada accommodation, sure, but when you factor in the space, location, and that you’re basically getting a high-end vacation rental experience with hotel services, it actually makes sense. Plus, being in a 4-star property in this part of Egypt means you get reliable utilities and service standards that can be hit-or-miss elsewhere.

  L’appartement est neuf et très fonctionnel et surtout très moderne grâce au nombreux équipements de l’appartement !
  La résidence est très calme pour un séjour entre amis ou famille !

  Modernes großes Duplex in einem neuen Resort auf El Mamsha- zugleich mit vielen extras! Ruhige Lage, WLAN, TV, schöne Möbel, komfortable große Betten, gut ausgestattete Küche, Jacuzzi, Duschen, Terrasse mit Möbeln – alles neu und gepflegt. Personal im Resort immer da und sehr hilfsbereit. Der Inhaber hat uns persönlich begrüßt.
  Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem Luxushaus genossen und würden hierher gerne wieder kommen.

  Le logement était parfait il est identique aux photos, très spacieux, moderne avec beaucoup d’équipements à disposition. Il y a en plus plusieurs terrasses qui donnent sur la piscine c’est un vrai plus. La localisation est assez bien il faut compter 15min de taxi pour arriver à la marina. Il y a beaucoup de commerces à proximité. Nos hôtes étaient très accueillants ils ont pris le temps de tout nous expliquer et ont été très serviable tout au long du séjour. Je recommande
