Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places along the Red Sea coast, and this little studio honestly surprised me. The “Luxury Studio Side Sea View” – yeah, I know the name sounds a bit much for a 3-star place – sits right on that stretch where Hurghada starts getting interesting, away from the main tourist madness but close enough that you’re not stranded.

The sea view thing is real, by the way. I mean, it’s not like you’re hanging over the water, but from the window you get this nice slice of blue between the buildings, especially if you crane your neck a bit to the left. What I actually loved was how quiet it gets in the evenings – you know how some places in Hurghada can be absolutely mental with the music and shouting until 2 AM? This spot seems to dodge most of that noise. The studio itself is… well, it’s compact but someone clearly thought about how to use the space. The little kitchenette actually works (I made coffee every morning, no problem), and there’s this tiny balcony where I’d sit with my book before it got too hot outside.

Here’s what nobody tells you about staying in this area – you’re walking distance to some of the better local restaurants that tourists usually miss completely. There’s this place about three blocks down where they do incredible koshari, and the guys running it don’t speak much English but they’ll sort you out. The beach access isn’t right at your doorstep, but honestly, a five-minute walk gets you to a decent stretch of sand that’s way less crowded than the resort beaches. Parking was never an issue when I had the rental car, which is pretty rare for this part of town. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no trying to upsell me on excursions or spa treatments, just handed me the key and pointed toward the elevator. I stayed there during shoulder season in October, so I can’t speak to how crazy it might get in peak winter months, but the whole building felt pretty chill. The AC worked perfectly (crucial, obviously), and the water pressure was better than I expected. Sometimes these smaller places can be hit or miss with the basics, but this one seems to have its act together. If you’re the type who needs a big pool and three restaurants in your hotel, this probably isn’t your scene, but if you want a clean, comfortable base for exploring Hurghada without paying resort prices, it’s actually a solid choice.
