You know what struck me first about Magic Beach Hotel Hurghada? It’s actually positioned perfectly in the El Helal District – and I mean that in the best way possible. You’re literally facing the Red Sea Governorate building, which sounds bureaucratic but honestly gives you this sense of being right in the heart of things without the chaos of the main tourist strip. The 4-star rating feels about right here – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does well.

The thing about Hurghada is that location really matters, and these guys nailed it. You’re close enough to walk to the good diving shops (trust me, you’ll want to hit the water here), but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise at night. I actually appreciated how the staff seemed to know their stuff about the local dive sites – they didn’t just hand you a generic brochure, they’d ask what your experience level was and point you toward the right operators. The rooms themselves are what you’d expect for a solid 4-star in Egypt – clean, functional, AC that actually works (crucial in summer), and most importantly, the hot water was consistent. I’ve stayed at places where that’s… well, let’s just say it’s not always guaranteed.

Here’s the thing though – that 8.1 rating makes sense when you factor in the little details. The breakfast spread was better than I expected, with actual Egyptian dishes alongside the typical hotel fare. The pool area gets busy around mid-morning, but if you’re an early riser like me, you’ll have it mostly to yourself. And honestly? The sunset views from the upper floors are pretty spectacular. The Red Sea has this way of turning these incredible shades of orange and pink that no photo really captures. Check-in was smooth enough, though like most places in Hurghada, having some Arabic phrases ready helps move things along faster. The wifi worked fine in the lobby and restaurant areas, a bit spotty in some rooms – but honestly, you’re in Egypt facing the Red Sea, maybe embrace being a little disconnected. One small heads up: the area can get a bit windy in the evenings, which is actually refreshing after a hot day, but pack a light jacket if you’re planning to sit outside after dinner.

  Hospitality of the hotel team everywhere, warm, smiling & welcoming employees starting by the hotel door, passing by the receptionist mr."Mohamed" to the animation team Cherry, Ouzo & Tito, to barmen & housekeeping guys, mr.Karim at the restaurant, ending again by mr. Awny & Mohamed at the reception at the check out… I have to mention that I felt at home with friends with family spirit during my stay which lasted for 3 nights, the service is awesome to the extent that I didn't believe it when I reported a problem of the toilet flush before going down to breakfast, I came back from the restaurant to find it solved.
  The beach is close & nice and spacious to all guests, The food variation isn't that much but it is made well, The pool is cool but not always covered with the sun, our room was maintenaned well.
  The area around the hotel is calm and beautiful with ease of access & close to many places in Hurghada such as midtown.
  It was my first time with Magic beach resort while I visited hurghada a lot, annually, but I believe it won't be the last time, I intend to come here again.

  I had a wonderful experience at the Magic Beach Hotel with stunning views. Everything about this hotel is good, such as rooms, customer service, and facilities to the serene pool area. I will recommend guests from Egypt, Arabs, and other tourists for sure. I was impressed by the efficient check-in (Mr. Mostafa) and check-out (Mr. Zeiad, and Mr. Abdo) and the staff welcome. The hotel is well-maintained and has a safe and secure environment. The restaurant staff is always friendly and clean. Finally, I introduce special thanks to the hotel manager Mr. Abdalla.   Firstly, I would like to thank to all of the hotel staff – especially to waiters who were really kind, caring and always had a smile on their faces.
  
  Food – was delicious (specially the cakes) and always you had a variety to choose from.
  
  Room – had everything you can possibly need.
  
  Sea & sun beds – sea was just a few metres from the hotel. Beach was private and clean.
  
  Location – hotel was not in the centre so there was nothing to see around but you can easilly get to the centre by taxi to see what it has to offer as we did it by ourself.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Magic Beach. The value for money was excellent, especially given the beautiful seafront location, the big room with balcony, and the quality and quantity of the food. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with freshly cooked pancakes, omelettes, and so much more. Our highlight at the hotel was the Halloween evening dinner buffet which was incredible!! The whole team spent hours preparing an amazing buffet, with special decorations. They seemed to be having so much fun doing so, and that was nice to see. Thank you so much!!
