Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first pulled up to Makadi Heights, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But honestly? This apartment-style setup in Makadi Bay surprised me in the best way possible. The building itself sits right in the heart of the Makadi Heights development, and you know what struck me immediately? How quiet it actually is, especially considering you’re still close enough to everything that matters in Hurghada.

The apartment I stayed in had this lived-in feel that I really appreciated – not sterile like some of those cookie-cutter resort rooms. The kitchen was actually functional (I mean, you could genuinely cook if you wanted to), and the balcony… well, depending on which side you get, you might catch glimpses of the Red Sea or at least the resort developments sprawling toward the coast. The staff genuinely seemed to care, which isn’t something you can fake – they knew the area inside and out and actually gave me solid recommendations for local spots beyond the typical tourist traps. Parking was never an issue, which if you’ve ever dealt with Hurghada’s busier areas, you’ll know is a blessing.

What really won me over was the location within Makadi Bay itself. You’re tucked away from the main resort chaos, but it’s maybe a 10-minute walk to the beach areas and the bigger hotel complexes if you want to use their facilities or grab dinner somewhere fancier. The local shops and that little market area are right there when you need basics, and honestly, the whole vibe feels more like staying in a neighborhood than being stuck in a tourist bubble. The 7.7 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury by any stretch, but it delivers on what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. I actually found myself relaxing here in a way I don’t usually manage at the flashier places. If you’re the type who values having your own space and doesn’t need someone making your bed every day, and you want to experience Makadi Bay without paying resort prices, this place gets it right.

  The place looks exactly like the pictures, it’s clean and comfortable, everything is available , all rooms are air-conditioned, have clean sheets and kitchen supplies.
  Suitable for small families and couples.

  Very well furnished and maintained, high speed internet, our host was very nice and hospital in addition to a free late check out

  Two bedrooms and comfy beds with good AC.
  Also we had really early check-in so that was good
  
  What could be improved: No wifi although it is written there is internet connection.
  Regarding host we had deal about transport from airport to apartment and when we arrived he changed the deal.
