The garden and pool view is what really sells it, though. I mean, you’re not just staring at some tiny courtyard – you’ve got this proper view that actually makes you want to keep the curtains open. The pool area gets busy around 11 AM when families start trickling down, but early morning? It’s basically yours. I’d grab coffee and sit out there before the day heated up, watching the gardeners tend to these massive palm trees that somehow make the whole complex feel more established than it actually is. The garden isn’t just decorative either – there’s real shade, which matters when you’re dealing with Red Sea heat.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being ground floor. You know how sometimes you get that unit where every footstep above sounds like a bowling ball? Not here. The walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing your neighbors’ entire vacation soundtrack. Plus, being on the ground floor means you’re not hauling luggage up stairs in 40-degree heat – trust me, your future self will thank you for that. The Mangroovy complex itself sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to El Gouna’s main areas without being right in the middle of the tourist chaos. Downtown is maybe a 10-minute walk, but you’re far enough out that you’re not hearing the late-night party crowd from Abu Tig Marina.

The 9.8 rating isn’t just people being generous – this place actually delivers on the details that matter. The AC works properly (crucial), the kitchen has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the local market instead of eating out every meal, and the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes like some places I’ve stayed around here. Check-in was smooth too – none of that “oh, we don’t have your reservation” drama that sometimes happens with vacation rentals.

I’ll be honest, three stars might sound modest, but in El Gouna, it’s more about the location and the actual space than fancy amenities. You’re here for the Red Sea, the kitesurfing, the laid-back vibe – not for turn-down service. This unit gives you a proper base to explore from, with enough room to spread out and that pool access when you need to cool off between beach trips. If you’re looking for something that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, and you want to be in El Gouna without paying resort prices, this is exactly the kind of find that makes you feel like you scored.

  Die Mangroovy-Anlage ist richtig toll.
  Die Vermietungsorganisation g- booking ist mit ihrem Verwalter der Anlage, Sherif, darauf bedacht, den Gästen das bestmögliche Urlaubserlebnis zu schenken.
  Sogar in Notsituationen, die nichts mit der Vermietung zu tun haben, ist Sherif liebenswürdig, hilfreich und schnell zur Stelle und sorgt für einen schönen Aufenthalt.
  Die Poollandschaften der großen Anlage sind toll, der Strandzugang mit Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirm ist für Appartmentnutzer kostenlos zugänglich.
