The apartment itself – well, it’s not trying to be fancy, which I actually appreciate. The bedroom’s got proper blackout potential (thank god, because Egyptian sun doesn’t mess around), and the kitchen’s actually functional if you’re the type who wants to grab fresh fish from the marina and cook it yourself. The whole setup feels like someone who actually lives in El Gouna designed it, not some developer who’s never set foot in the Red Sea.

Here’s the thing about the location that the pictures don’t really show you – you’re basically a five-minute walk from Abu Tig Marina, which means decent coffee, actual grocery shopping, and those little water taxis that’ll zip you around the lagoons when you can’t be bothered walking in the heat. For a 3-star spot pulling an 8 rating, it’s doing exactly what it should – giving you a proper base to experience El Gouna without the tourist bubble nonsense. If you’re looking for that authentic Red Sea lagoon life without breaking the bank, this is honestly one of the better calls you could make.
