Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Marilyn Studio with Sea View Wi Fi” listed on Emtidat El Gabal El Shamaly Boulevard, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name’s a bit quirky, and let’s face it, Hurghada has plenty of places that promise sea views and deliver a sliver of blue between two concrete buildings. But you know what? This little studio actually delivers on what it says, and then some.

The location is pretty sweet if you know Taksim area – you’re walking distance from the corniche without being right in the thick of the tourist madness. I mean, you can still hear the occasional call to prayer from the nearby mosque (which honestly becomes kind of comforting after a day or two), but it’s not like you’re dealing with the constant honking and chaos of the main hotel strip. The building itself is typical Egyptian apartment style – nothing fancy from the outside, but apartment 19 on the upper floors gives you that promised sea view, and it’s actually legit. You can see the Red Sea stretching out, especially nice during sunset when the water turns all golden.

What surprised me most was how well-maintained everything felt for a 3-star place. The Wi-Fi actually works – and I mean really works, not that frustrating Egyptian internet that cuts out every ten minutes. The studio setup is smart too; they’ve maximized the space without making it feel cramped. There’s this little kitchenette that’s perfect if you want to grab some fresh fish from the local market (there’s a good one about a 15-minute walk toward the old town) and cook it yourself. The air conditioning keeps up with the Hurghada heat, which anyone who’s spent a summer here will tell you is no small feat.

The area gets pretty quiet at night, which might disappoint party seekers but is perfect if you’re planning those early morning diving trips – and honestly, that’s what most people come to Hurghada for anyway. You’re close enough to the marina that you can walk to most dive shops, but far enough from the Red Sea resorts that you’re not paying tourist prices for everything. There’s a decent local restaurant downstairs that serves proper Egyptian breakfast, and the guy who runs it speaks enough English to help with directions or calling a taxi.

That 9.1 rating makes sense once you spend a few days here. It’s not luxury – the shower pressure could be better, and the furniture has that slightly worn look that comes with Red Sea salt air – but it hits all the marks for what most travelers actually need. Clean, comfortable, genuine sea view, reliable internet, and you’re not stuck in some resort bubble. Plus, staying in a regular Egyptian apartment building means you get little glimpses of local life, like the family upstairs hanging laundry or the evening conversations that drift up from the street.

  Very good location, the main street is really close.
  The inside is a bit artsy, so it was really likable and comfortable.
  Everything was under hand that was needed.

  It really feels like you're at home.

  The check in ran very smoothly and Irinas husband was very kind and helpful. The apartment was clean and very close to the beach and to various restaurants and cafes. The internet was very fast. Overall a great experience thank you so much!

  It’s a nice property and ideal for short stays. The hosts are lovely.
  
  What could be improved: If there’s a water cut by the government it can impact you to have showers or use the water facilities. However the owners did keep bottles of water for these occasions.

  The location of the studio in the center, wi-fi speed is good, there was a microwave and 43" smart TV, also the air conditioning is working good.

  The lighting distribution and intensity was good enough, also it was clean and comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: The balacony wasn't clean at all and there was only one plastic chair at the balacony without table or a second one for your mate also Need more maintenance for the door of the balacony (not closed), and the air ventlation of the bathroom not working, also there were a mulfunction to the the TV satellite connection, the water was week pouring but after realizing that the water pump wasn't connected the pressure of water became good. And at the end the studio has no permission to use the elevator and you have to use stairs to the third floor (there are too many cats live on the stairs)

  La ubicación es perfecta, Ya que se encuentra en el centro de hurgada, la playa se encuentra serca los supermercados de igual forma, el departamento cumple con las comodidades y limpieza y la dueña , siempre era al pendiente de las necesidades
