You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name sounds a bit over-the-top – “Marvelous 2BR” – but honestly, it kind of lives up to it. I mean, when you’re staying in Mangroovy (which, let’s be real, is already a pretty fun name for a neighborhood), you’re getting this perfect sweet spot in El Gouna that most tourists completely miss.

The apartment itself is refreshingly straightforward – two proper bedrooms that actually have space to unpack your stuff, which is rarer than you’d think in this price range. But here’s the thing that really matters: the beach access isn’t some marketing gimmick. You literally walk out, cross one small street, and you’re on this gorgeous stretch of Red Sea coastline that’s way less crowded than the main El Gouna beaches where all the day-trippers end up. The pool situation is solid too – it’s shared but never felt cramped when I was there, probably because half the guests are off diving or kitesurfing anyway.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets in the evenings. Mangroovy has this laid-back vibe that’s totally different from the busier parts of El Gouna near the marina. You can actually hear the water lapping at night, which sounds cheesy but is genuinely nice after a day in the sun. The kitchen is properly equipped too – I mean, you can make real meals, not just reheat things. That’s clutch when you want to grab fresh fish from the local market and cook it yourself rather than eating out every single night. The whole setup feels like someone actually thought about how people travel, not just how to cram in as many beds as possible. And honestly, with a 9.9 rating, I was expecting some kind of catch – maybe weird check-in times or sketchy WiFi – but everything just… worked. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re trying to unwind somewhere that’s genuinely beautiful without all the resort nonsense.

  The host was incredibly helpful and organized from the very beginning. Even before our arrival, we received detailed information about the surrounding area – including recommendations on sights to see, the most popular restaurants and beaches, transportation options, nearby shops, and more.
  The host kindly arranged airport transfer for us, and the driver handed over the keys upon arrival, which made everything very smooth and convenient.
  The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The pool areas throughout the complex were lovely and relaxing. The beach was right next to the property and easily accessible, with several bars and restaurants nearby.
  The location of the apartment was excellent — both marinas were just a short, refreshing walk away.
  Throughout our stay, the host was extremely professional, always quick to respond to any questions we had, and truly went above and beyond to assist us. We felt very well taken care of and had a fantastic experience.

  SUPER CLEAN. Amazing host super attentive and helpful, best place to stay we had a great time. If you love iced coffee, you have Cult a 5 mins walk and the beach is a 5 mins walk as well. We loved this place and Jean made everything so smooth and easy for us!
