Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of Red Sea hotels, and the Mashrabiya honestly surprised me in the best way. You know when you book a place and cross your fingers it’ll actually match the photos? This one does – and then some. The name Mashrabiya refers to those intricate wooden screens you see in traditional Egyptian architecture, and they’ve woven that aesthetic throughout the property without making it feel like a theme park. It’s actually tasteful, which is saying something for Hurghada.

The location on Youssef Affifi Road is pretty solid if you know the area. You’re close enough to the marina district that you can walk there in the evening (though honestly, grab a taxi after dark – it’s like two pounds and saves the hassle), but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant honking and tour group chaos. I mean, don’t get me wrong, you’ll still hear some street noise during the day, but it dies down nicely at night. The staff actually remembers your name after a day or two, which is refreshing – and their English is surprisingly good, way better than some of the five-star places I’ve tried along this coast.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to small things that matter when you’re trying to unwind. The AC works properly (you’d be amazed how often that’s not the case), the water pressure is decent, and they don’t blast music by the pool until your ears bleed. The food is where they really shine though – yes, there’s the usual international buffet stuff, but they do a proper Egyptian breakfast that most tourists never bother trying. Get the ful medames if you’re feeling adventurous. The pool area gets busy around 10 AM when the families come down, but if you’re an early bird like me, you’ll have it mostly to yourself with your coffee. Honestly, for a four-star property, they punch above their weight. The 8.8 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Hurghada, but it delivers on what it promises without the usual resort nonsense. You won’t find overpriced cocktails or pushy animation teams here, just solid comfort and people who seem to actually care about whether you enjoy your stay.

  La ubicación y el diseño de la habitación y las zonas comunes. Era un lugar muy acogedor a pie de playa.
  
  What could be improved: La cama era un poco dura, pero la relación calidad-precio del hotel es muy buena. Es el alojamiento que más he disfrutado en Hurghada.

  Оптимальное соотношение цена-качество. Не ждите за эти деньги чего-то выдающегося. Но, все приемлемо. Снимал там номера в день прилёта и отлета, все понравилось. У отеля свой пляж, кафе прямо на берегу. Чистенько. Очень понравился персонал – дружелюбные, весёлые, говорят по-русски, помогают чем могут. Присмотрели за вещами, помогли с заселением (было много снаряжения с собой), поймали такси. В общем, рекомендую как недорогой вариант остановиться на несколько дней.

  Emplacement, peu de vagues, Parfait pour la nage, le soleil, le calme, restaurant proche. Chambre style motel, pas de bruit dérangeant. Lit très ferme mais avec un sleeping bag sous le drap contour c'était ok. Eau limpide.
