The heated pool actually makes all the difference – and I mean that as someone who’s stayed in El Gouna during those surprisingly chilly winter evenings when most pools are basically unusable. This little apartment sits right at the entrance to El Gouna, which honestly works in your favor because you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the main hub that you won’t hear the golf carts puttering around at all hours.

The apartment itself is pretty straightforward – one bedroom that’s modern enough without being sterile, and that private patio is where you’ll probably end up spending most of your time. I loved having morning coffee out there before the day gets too hot. The setup is perfect for couples or solo travelers who want their own space but don’t need a massive resort experience. What I really appreciated (and this might sound small) is that everything actually works – the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter, the wifi reaches the bedroom, and the kitchen has real dishes, not those flimsy plastic things you sometimes get. The location means you’re literally two minutes from the main lagoon area where all the restaurants and bars are, but you can also easily grab a taxi or rent a bike to explore the outer islands if you’re feeling adventurous.

Here’s the thing about El Gouna that most people don’t realize until they’re here – it’s not your typical Egyptian beach destination. It’s more like a planned community that happens to be gorgeous, so this apartment fits right into that vibe. You’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble, which I actually prefer. The heated pool situation can’t be overstated, especially if you’re visiting between November and March when the Red Sea is stunning but the air temperature drops more than you’d expect. The whole place has this laid-back, slightly upscale feel without being pretentious about it. My only minor gripe? The apartment could use a few more towels, and parking can get a bit tight during peak season, but honestly, those are pretty small issues when you consider you’re getting a private space with a heated pool in one of Egypt’s most unique destinations. If you’re the type who likes having your own kitchen to make breakfast and a quiet spot to decompress after diving or exploring Hurghada, this place delivers exactly what it promises.

  The heated private pool is the cherry on top especially for the hijab Muslim women, the room was comfortable and clean, the kitchen facilities are good, enough sleeping areas for small families.

  What could be improved: The location is remote and GPS directions are not correct they direct you through offroad shortcut. The access road is not paved properly. The wifi is slow and the cellular reception is not great.

  The place itself was extremely nicely furnished, the photos are overall really accurate. The pool was a great size, the hosts were very gracious by accommodating our checkin/checkout needs, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The appliances were also great. Everything you could need in your stay was there.
  
  What could be improved: The pool was not heated as the plug wasn't even attached. The whole reason we chose this property is because of the heated the pool. The property itself is relatively far from everywhere you might want to go, and is more expensive than most properties in Gouna which a much nicer view and location for literally just the pool. The only reason we overpaid was for the pool, and it was not heated. In addition, the bathroom itself smelled really bad, and the AC as well. Every time we turned it on, the whole room would just smell horrible, we had to turn it off. I don't know if this was just our experience or what, but we were very disappointed with these two things, especially the pool seeing that we were only able to go in on the last day of our stay.
