You know what struck me first about this place? The name is honestly a mouthful – “Modernes Komfort mit Smart TV & Power W-LAN” – but it actually delivers on that promise in a way that surprised me. I mean, when you’re dealing with a 3-star spot in Hurghada, you’re not always sure what you’re getting, but this flat really gets the basics right.

The location is actually pretty sweet – you’re close enough to the beach that you can hear the waves at night (which I loved), but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the constant hustle of beachfront vendors starting at sunrise. The building itself is nothing fancy from the outside, but once you’re in Flat 3, it feels like someone actually thought about what travelers need. The Wi-Fi situation is legit – I was video calling home without any lag, which honestly saved my trip since I had some work stuff to handle. And that Smart TV? Look, it sounds like a small thing, but after long days exploring the Red Sea or wandering around Hurghada’s markets, being able to actually watch something decent instead of flipping through fuzzy local channels was perfect.

What really impressed me was how they’ve set up the space. It’s not huge, but everything has a purpose – the kitchen area is compact but functional (great for making coffee in the morning or storing snacks), and the bedroom setup actually gives you room to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The air conditioning works well too, which you’ll definitely appreciate during those scorching afternoon hours. I stayed there during peak season and never felt like I was melting, even when I came back from day trips. The shower pressure is decent – not amazing, but way better than some of the pricier places I’ve stayed along the coast. Honestly, the whole place just feels like someone who actually travels set it up, you know? Little touches like having enough outlets near the bed and proper blackout capability for those afternoon naps after diving.

The area around the building is pretty quiet in the evenings, which was perfect for me, but you’re still within walking distance of decent restaurants and shops. There’s this little café about two blocks away that serves incredible koshari – totally worth seeking out. Getting to the main hotel strip takes about ten minutes by taxi, and the drivers all know the area well. One thing to note – the building entrance is a bit tricky to find the first time, especially at night, so maybe screenshot the exact location before you head out exploring. But once you’re settled in, it becomes this nice little base camp for everything Hurghada has to offer. For the price point and that 9-rating, it really delivers on being a comfortable, no-nonsense place to crash between adventures.
