You know what struck me first about New Marina Heart of Hurghada? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – it really is right in the thick of things, but not in that overwhelming touristy way that makes you want to hide in your room. I mean, you’re literally a stone’s throw from the marina area where all the dive boats dock, which is perfect if you’re planning to hit the Red Sea reefs (and honestly, why else would you be in Hurghada?). The hotel sits in the Al Nasr district, and while that might not mean much if you’re new to the area, locals will tell you it’s one of those spots where you get the energy of the town without the chaos of the main strip.

The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be some fancy resort, but everything works properly and the staff actually seems to care about what they’re doing. With a 9.3 rating, I was curious if it would live up to the hype, and honestly? It does. The rooms are clean without being sterile, and you can tell they’ve put thought into the little things that matter when you’re dealing with sandy dive gear or coming back sun-drained from a day on the water. The AC works properly (crucial in Egypt, trust me), and the water pressure is solid – I know it sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re close to the action. You’ll hear the occasional boat engine in the early morning when the dive crews are heading out, but it’s more comforting than annoying if you’re into that whole Red Sea diving scene.

The location really is the sweet spot here – you can walk to the marina without dealing with taxi drivers, but you’re also close enough to the souks and local restaurants that you don’t feel stuck in a tourist bubble. There’s this little ahwa (coffee house) about two blocks away where the dive guides hang out between trips, and the hotel staff will actually point you toward spots like that instead of just pushing the overpriced tourist places. During peak season – roughly October through April when the weather’s perfect for diving – the area gets busy but never feels cramped. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, and they seem to get that most people arriving here are either exhausted from travel or excited to get in the water, so they don’t drag things out with unnecessary formalities. If you’re looking for a place that gets the balance right between comfort and authenticity, without paying resort prices for stuff you won’t use anyway, this is it.

  The landlord is amazing. He told us in advance how to find the apartment and was already waiting for us downstairs when we arrived. Since I couldn't use WhatsApp, the landlord made great efforts to communicate with me via Booking. The room is large and clean, facing the dock with a beautiful sea view. It's also within walking distance to the seafood market and the pedestrian street for shopping. The location is really perfect! The next day, he even helped us store our luggage. The landlord is really responsible.

  As mentioned in the name of the house , it is in the heart of the marina, lively, vibrant and most importantly in a safe place. Comfortable where you can feel like you are at home. The size, wonderful sea view, walking distance to everywhere, having all the items you need is perfect. The beds and pillows are both clean and very comfortable. There are many restaurants and markets around. Our host Mr. Khaled is a reliable, honest, helpful and sincere person. Whenever we needed something, he came to help. He met us at the airport and said goodbye to us. We thank him very much. If we come to Hurghada again, we will stay here again.

  We had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent, overlooking the marina, which provided stunning views. The apartment is well-furnished and comfortable, making it a perfect home away from home. Khaled, the host, was incredibly helpful and responsive; I had a minor issue during my stay, but he promptly resolved it. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

  Excellent location. Numerous restaurant and bar options on our doorstep. Only a few minutes walk from busy shopping district of Sheraton Street. Safe and secure atmosphere at all times. Our host Khalid was an excellent source of information and recommendations for things to do during our stay. He was available 24/7 to answer our questions. Highly recommended property.
