Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to the Turkish Airlines Building on El Hadaba Road, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this One Bedroom Chalet situation. The building itself is pretty standard for Hurghada, nothing fancy, but once you get inside Lilly’s place, it actually feels like someone’s thoughtfully put-together apartment rather than your typical hotel room. And you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

The chalet itself is surprisingly spacious – I mean, when they say one bedroom, they’re not kidding around with some cramped studio setup. There’s a proper living area where you can actually spread out, and the bedroom feels separate enough that if you’re traveling with someone, you’re not on top of each other 24/7. The kitchen setup is decent too, which honestly saved me a fortune because eating out every meal in Hurghada adds up fast. Nothing gourmet, but you can make coffee the way you like it and keep some snacks around. The air conditioning works well (crucial in Egyptian summers, trust me), though it does make that typical AC hum – not loud enough to keep you awake, just background noise you get used to.

What I really appreciated was how Lilly’s team handles things. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and they actually know the area well enough to give you real recommendations, not just the tourist trap stuff. El Hadaba Road puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to the action but not right in the middle of the chaos around Sheraton Road. You can walk to some decent local restaurants – there’s this little place about five minutes away that does amazing koshari that I stumbled across thanks to their tip. The marina area is maybe a 10-minute taxi ride, and honestly, getting around from here is pretty straightforward. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which if you’ve dealt with downtown Hurghada, you’ll appreciate.

The 8.7 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers on what it promises without any nasty surprises. The place is clean, the wifi actually works for video calls (tested it multiple times), and there’s enough hot water for proper showers even during peak season. I stayed during a busy period in March, and while you could hear some street noise during the day, it quiets down at night. The building has decent security, and I felt comfortable leaving my stuff there while out diving or exploring.

Honestly, if you’re looking for that middle ground between a basic hotel room and a proper apartment rental, this hits the mark. It’s managed professionally enough that you’re not dealing with typical Airbnb uncertainties, but personal enough that it doesn’t feel sterile. Plus, the location gives you options – you can hit the touristy spots easily but also duck into more local experiences when you want something real. For a 3-star setup, it punches above its weight, and the price point makes sense for what you get.

  Klid, pohodlí, soukromí bylo naprosto úžasné. Toto ubytování opravdu doporučuji těm, kteří chtějí mít klid a zároveň být za chvíli v centru.

  El departamento era muy espacioso y bien equipado. Excelente ubicación, muy cerca de la playa y lugares de comercio. El sector seguro para caminar. Estaba muy limpio. La atención del recepcionista fue muy buena.

  Удобные апартаменты, хороший wi-fi! Все соответствует описанию. Чисто, только хотелось бы побольше посуды для приготовления еды. Холодильник чистый,стиральная машинка тоже. Персонал на связи 24/7 всегда помогает,спасибо Хусейну
