Honestly, when I first pulled up to this place on South Marina Road, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot — but man, was I wrong. The Outstanding Apartment sits right across from Gate 1 of Hurghada Marina, and I mean literally right there. You can practically reach out and touch the boats from your window, which is exactly what makes this place special. The marina view isn’t some distant glimpse you need binoculars for; it’s front-row seats to all the action.
What really struck me was how the location works in your favor throughout the day. Mornings are surprisingly peaceful — you get this gentle lapping of water against the hulls and maybe some early fishermen heading out. But by mid-morning, the marina comes alive with dive boats and day cruises, so there’s always something to watch while you’re having coffee. The apartment itself is nothing fancy, but it’s clean and the air conditioning actually works (trust me, you’ll appreciate this in Hurghada’s heat). The kitchen has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the local market about ten minutes down the road, though honestly, with all the marina restaurants right there, I didn’t cook much.
Here’s what I wish someone had told me before booking: the evening scene can get pretty lively, especially during peak season from October to April. It’s not obnoxiously loud, but if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs. Also, parking can be tricky during busy periods — there’s street parking, but you might end up walking a block or two. The trade-off? You’re walking distance from some of the best seafood in Hurghada, and you can book boat trips literally by walking across the street and chatting with the captains directly (way better prices than hotel bookings, by the way). The 9.2 rating makes total sense when you consider what you’re getting for the price point. It’s not luxury, but it’s authentic Hurghada living with a view that costs three times as much at the resort hotels up the coast.

The view and location are really great, the apartment is clean and well furnished, comfortable, staff were friendly.

Huge space for 6 tourists with balcony view literally on starting point for most tours.
I like self made breakfasts on the balcony
What could be improved: The appartment is functional but also unfinished.
Bathroom lacking a shelve for the shower, toilet cover detaching, main doors still in protective plastic.
Entire building is under construction so you jer some Tutanhammon drilling between 8 and 9 pm for some mad reason, depends on his mood.
Not all equipmwnt is new.

Die Lage ist wirklich gut. 1 Min zum Haupteingang der Marina. Die Wohnung ist als NICHT in der Marina, sondern sie trennt eine Straße vom Hafen. Auch die "belebte Gegend" Sheraton Street von Hurghada erreicht man in 5 Min getan. Einen lokalen Kiosk mit dem aller notwndigsten hat man direkt um die Ecke, genauso wie eine Apotheke und eine Bar.
Einen großen lokalen Supermarkt findet man in ebenfalls kurzläufig noch vor der Shareton Road
What could be improved: Wir sind Taucher. Daher war die Wohnung für uns ausreichend ausgestattet. Das heißt, wir konnten uns in einem sauberen Bad fertig machen. Die Schlafzimmer waren ebenfalls ok.
Die Küche besitzt eigentlich alles was man benötigen würde. Jedoch haben wir nur den Kühlschrank und die Waschmaschine genutzt.
Wirklich viel Besteck gab es nicht. Da wir aber 16 Tage auswärts in der Stadt gegessen haben, war es für uns unkritisch. Das Kochfeld, welches mit der in der Küche platzierten Gasflasche betrieben wird, haben wir ebenfalls nicht genutzt.
Die Wäsche haben wir nicht auf dem Balkon getrocknet, denn dann wäre die sicherlich wieder staubig gewesen. Aber das ist ein allgemeines Problem in Hurghada, würde ich sagen. Der Blick vom Balokn ist direkt auf das erste Hotel in der MArina. Etwas weiter rechts kann man das Meer erkennen.Mohamed from Jordan – 16 June 2025 (10/10)
