So here’s the thing about Palm Beach Piazza Apart hotel in Sahl Hasheesh – it’s one of those places that actually delivers on what it promises, which honestly surprised me a bit given it’s a 3-star property. I mean, you’re not expecting miracles at this price point, but when I walked into the lobby, there was this immediately relaxed vibe that made me think “okay, this could work.”

The location is what really sold me though. Sahl Hasheesh isn’t like central Hurghada where you’ve got tourists everywhere and constant noise from the main strips – it’s actually pretty chill here. You’re close enough to the Red Sea that you can hear the waves if you open your balcony door at night (which I did, because the sound is incredible), but far enough from the party zones that you can actually sleep. The apart-hotel setup works well too – having a little kitchenette means you’re not stuck eating hotel food every meal, and there’s a decent supermarket about a 10-minute walk away where you can grab basics without getting completely ripped off on tourist prices.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to know their stuff about the area. The guy at reception – I think his name was Ahmed – gave me directions to this local fish place that wasn’t in any of my guidebooks but turned out to be amazing. That’s the kind of local knowledge you don’t get at the big chain hotels. The rooms themselves are pretty standard but clean, and honestly the AC works well, which is crucial when you’re dealing with Egyptian heat. The pool area gets busy around midday but if you go early morning or late afternoon, it’s actually quite peaceful. I spent a lot of time there just reading and occasionally swimming – the water’s kept clean, no weird chemical smell.

Look, I’m not going to pretend this is luxury accommodation. The WiFi can be spotty (especially in the evenings when everyone’s online), and sometimes the hot water takes a minute to kick in. But for what you’re paying, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the Red Sea or taking day trips, it’s solid value. The breakfast is decent – not elaborate, but fresh bread, local cheese, and fruit that’s actually ripe. Plus being in Sahl Hasheesh means you’re positioned well for diving trips to some of the better reef sites without having to travel as far as you would from downtown Hurghada. I’d definitely consider staying here again, particularly if I was doing another diving-focused trip where I just needed a comfortable, clean base rather than resort-style pampering.

  What could be improved: it was a private owned Appartment in a compound, 314B. the Appartment was dirty and everything inside had something broken. from the stove to the shower. broken remote. window that does not lock and cups and plates were very poor.

  We booked two nights but we leaved after the first night.
  The door was broken you had only to lock with the key from inside it make it close.
  Was so hot and the AC in the living room was systemised on 38 degree or something.
  No clean towels. No even soup to wash hands and no toilet papers at least.
  We didn't like at all.
  And extra charge was Hidden in the last step
  Like cleaning fee and electricity bills and stuff like that.

  What could be improved: Appartement van Natalie was wel aan vernieuwing toe, koelkast, waterkoker, pannen waren oud en outdated. Het hele huis rook niet fris. Ik zou niet nog een keer in hetzelfde appartement verblijven. Misschien zijn andere appartement in het complex wel beter en nieuwer. Ik moest bovendien ander (hoger) bedrag betalen dan het aangegeven bedrag op Booking omdat ik in Egyptische ponden heb betaald.

  Апартаменты очень понравились, уютно и светло, на балконе боковой вид на море, вся техника работает, кухня укомплектована. Сахль-Хашиш – прекрасный район, отличный песчаный пляж с шезлонгами и зонтиками, очень чистый бассейн, у бассейна есть душ смыть песок и морскую соль. В 500 метрах от апартаментов супермаркет Bestway без наценок, ассортимент большой, все необходимое есть, в том числе готовые блюда и замороженные блины и пельмени. Недалеко есть несколько кафе, цены приемлемые.

  Отдыхали в Сахл-Хашише в октябре. Апартаменты такого формата снимали впервые. Очень понравились именно эти «апарты». Начну с самого компаунда. «Palm Beach Piazza» по моему мнению расположен в самом удачном месте бухты. Рядом знаменитая Площадь цветных фонтанов. Она считается главной «жемчужиной» курорта. Прямо за ней расположен опять же «главный» супермаркет Сахл-Хашиша – «BestWay». В нём есть всё, что нужно для жизни в апартах – продукты, бакалея, хозтовары, одежда. Цены в Египте на всё это невысокие. Сам комплекс «Пальма» находится практически на берегу бухты. Хороший бассейн с шезлонгами и зонтиками, свой ресторанчик-пиццерия с вполне недорогим пивом. И самое главное – отличный пляж! Нет надоедливой и шумной музыки (рядом отель «Old Palace» – тоже достаточно тихий). Шезлонгов с зонтами хватает, вход в море комфортный. Посторонних нет – за этим ненавязчиво следят. Непосредственно наш номер 314. Он расположен на третьем этаже в корпусе «В» с окнами во внутренний двор. Это важно! Солнце в окна практически не попадает – только немного с утра до полудня. С Египетской жарой это большое достоинство. В обед мы накрывали столик на балконе и при «высоком градуснике» нам было очень комфортно, то есть совершенно не жарко, да ещё и лёгкий ветерок между корпусами – очень здорово. В номере есть всё, что нужно. Кондиционер в обеих комнатах. Санузел хороший – большая душевая. На кухне полный комплект – электроплита, микроволновка, чайник, холодильник (не маленький и что важно – морозит как на Северном полюсе!). Посуда в полном ассортименте – кастрюли, сковородки, тарелки, стаканы, кружки, ложки-ножи-вилки. Ах да – стиральная машина! Пылесос и другие уборочные прибамбасы. Сам компаунд тихий – или хорошая звукоизоляция, или соседи спокойные. По всей видимости и то и другое. Если когда-то снова поедем по такой «схеме», то заедем ещё раз именно в этот номер. СПАСИБО!
