You know what caught me off guard about Panda Grey? The name made me expect some quirky themed place, but it’s actually just a solid, no-nonsense apartment-style stay right in the heart of Hurghada. I mean, the balcony alone makes it worth considering – and I’m talking about a proper balcony where you can actually sit with your morning coffee, not one of those tiny ledges some places try to pass off.

The location on Al-Madares Street is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying where locals actually live, rather than being stuck in some tourist bubble. You’re walking distance from the souks and can grab those amazing ful medames breakfasts from the street vendors (trust me on this one), but you’re also close enough to the marina area when you want that Red Sea waterfront vibe. The building itself – number 457, third floor – isn’t fancy, but it’s clean and the neighbors are pretty quiet, which is more than I can say for some of the beachfront places where party music goes until 3 AM.

What I really appreciated was how the apartment felt like, well, an actual place someone lives rather than a sterile hotel room. The balcony gets this great cross-breeze in the evenings, and honestly, after spending days out diving or exploring, having a proper space to spread out and maybe cook a simple meal (there’s a kitchenette) felt like luxury. The 7.2 rating seems about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but everything works, the AC keeps things comfortable during those brutal afternoon hours, and the WiFi is solid enough for video calls home. I did notice the hot water takes a minute to kick in, but that’s pretty standard for this part of town. The owner was actually really helpful with local recommendations too, which you don’t always get. If you’re looking for marble bathrooms and a concierge, this isn’t your spot, but if you want a genuine slice of Hurghada life with modern conveniences and that balcony for watching the city wake up, Panda Grey delivers exactly what it promises.

  Дом расположен в центре города , апартаменты очень хорошие ( стиральная машина, утюг , фен , плита газовая , холодильник , телевизор , лоджия. На кровати ортопедические матрасы . Везде плитка на полу и в апартаментах и в подъезде , лифт , в подъезде каждый день уборка , никаких насекомых ! рядом вся инфраструктура , в супермаркетах огромный выбор продуктов , до пляжа пешком не более 15 минут( от 30 фунтов до 100 фунтов ). Ходила на пляж Рамоза за 30 фунтов ( видеокамеры , лежаки и хорошо от ветра ) . Принимающая сторона Ирина встретила и проводила в аэропорт . Очень рекомендую. Дом чистый ! Апартаменты такие же , как на фото ! За продуктами ходила в супермаркет Abu Ashe и Gomlya.

  Расположение хорошее, не далеко от моря минут 15-20 пешком.
  
  What could be improved: Квартира была совсем не подготовлена к нашему приезду. Везде пыль и грязь. Вся мебель и техника старая. Диваны пропалены от сигарет. Постельное белье с пятнами. Полотенца старые и тоже с пятнами их давно пора заменить на новые. Нам пришлось лично купить салфетки и протереть хоть немного пыль чтобы дышать было. Душевая это отдельная печальная история. По размеру очень маленькая и неудобная. Для людей в теле + не подойдет. Слив практически не работал, все ноги были в собственной грязи так сказать. Кран тоже поломан и еле держался. В общем все так же как на фото, только не так ярко и солнечно 😆. Все пора заменить на новое или хотя бы хорошенечко все с моющим помыть. Даже кухонная поверхность была липкая, жирная, грязная. Сам дом старый, в подъезде очень воняет сыростью, котами и мусором. Только чистое, красивое море и экскурсии спасли наш отдых.
