Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to this place in Waterside, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot. But honestly? This little gem surprised me in the best way possible. The building itself is pretty typical El Gouna style, nothing flashy, but what got me was how quiet it actually is despite being right in the middle of everything. You know how some places claim to be peaceful but you’re still hearing scooters at 2 AM? Not here.

The two-bedroom setup is perfect if you’re traveling with friends or family – I mean, actually perfect, not just “cozy” like most places try to spin it. The bedrooms are a decent size, and there’s enough space in the living area where you won’t be stepping on each other after a long day at the beach. What really sold me though was stepping out onto the balcony that first morning. The lagoon view isn’t just some distant glimpse – you’re literally looking out over the water, and if you’re lucky enough to snag one of the units facing the right direction, you’ll catch the most incredible sunrises. The pool area is small but well-maintained, and here’s the thing nobody tells you – it’s actually warm enough to use even in the cooler months because it gets sun most of the day.

The location is where this place really shines, and I don’t mean that in a generic “convenient location” way. You’re a five-minute walk from the Marina, which means easy access to all the restaurants and cafes without dealing with the main tourist crush. Plus – and this is key if you’re planning to explore – you can walk to the bus stops that’ll take you to the different islands around El Gouna without needing to arrange transport every time. Parking was never an issue when I had friends visit, which is honestly rare in this area. The only downside I’d mention is that the WiFi can be spotty during peak evening hours when everyone’s online, but during the day it’s perfectly fine for work calls or streaming. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too – the property manager actually knows the area well and gave me some solid recommendations for local spots that weren’t just the obvious touristy places. That 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here a few days.
