Okay, so I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Picturesque 3BR Villa” in the listing, I rolled my eyes a little because, you know, every place calls itself picturesque. But this spot in Sabina actually lives up to the name, and I mean that. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense of space and light that you don’t always get with vacation rentals, especially ones that sleep six people comfortably.

What really sets this place apart though is the lagoon access – and I’m talking about the actual El Gouna lagoons here, not some tiny hotel pool they’re calling a lagoon. You literally walk out your door and you’re at one of those pristine turquoise spots that El Gouna is famous for. The water’s incredibly calm (perfect if you’re traveling with kids or just want to float around with a book), and honestly, having that kind of direct access feels pretty luxurious. I spent most mornings out there with coffee before the day trippers showed up from Hurghada – there’s something magical about having it mostly to yourself around 7 AM when the light hits the water just right.

The villa itself is well thought out in ways that matter when you’re actually living there for a week. The kitchen’s properly equipped (I mean, there’s actually sharp knives and decent pans), the bedrooms stay cool even during the afternoon heat, and there’s enough outdoor space that everyone can spread out. The whole Sabina area has this laid-back vibe that’s different from the busier parts of El Gouna – you’re close enough to walk to Marina for dinner or drinks, but far enough that you’re not dealing with crowds or noise when you want to relax. Parking’s easy too, which sounds boring but trust me, after driving around some Egyptian resort towns, you’ll appreciate not having to hunt for a spot every time you come back from exploring.

What I really appreciated was how the place manages to feel both private and connected. You’ve got your own slice of paradise with the lagoon access, but Abu Tig Marina is maybe a 10-minute walk when you want restaurants or nightlife. The local grocery situation is decent enough for basics, though I’d recommend stocking up on anything specific in Hurghada before you settle in. The whole setup just works – whether you want to spend your days lounging by the water, kitesurfing (the conditions here are consistently good), or using it as a base to explore the Red Sea coast. It’s one of those places where you actually end up extending your stay if you can swing it.
