The place calls itself “Pool View One bedroom Apt – B103” and well, it delivers on that promise. You do get a pool view, though I mean, it’s not like you’re overlooking some infinity pool at a five-star resort. It’s more of a nice, functional pool that actually gets decent use from residents and guests.

What I really appreciated about this spot is how it sits right in that sweet spot between the touristy hotel strip and actual Hurghada life. Old Sheraton Road puts you close enough to the action – you can walk to decent restaurants and those little shops where locals actually buy stuff, not just the overpriced tourist traps. The compound itself is gated, which gives you that security feeling without being totally cut off from the neighborhood. Parking was never an issue, and honestly, the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward. The apartment itself is clean and functional – I wouldn’t call it luxurious, but everything works. The AC kept up with the heat (crucial in Hurghada), the kitchen had what you need for basic cooking, and the bed was actually comfortable. You know what surprised me? The water pressure in the shower was consistently good, which isn’t always a given in this price range.

The pool area becomes the social hub in the evenings – not rowdy or anything, just pleasantly alive with people unwinding after beach days or sightseeing. Mornings are quiet enough that you can actually enjoy your coffee without chaos. The location really grows on you because you’re not stuck in some isolated resort bubble, but you’re also not dealing with the noise and crowds of downtown Hurghada. It’s maybe a 10-minute taxi ride to the marina if you want the full tourist experience, or you can walk to some genuinely good local spots that most visitors never discover. For a 3-star place with a 7 rating, it performs exactly as advertised – no nasty surprises, no over-the-top amenities you don’t need, just a solid base for exploring the Red Sea area without breaking the bank.
