Look, I’ll be straight with you about Princess Resort 425 B – it’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and honestly, that’s refreshing in Hurghada where half the hotels are putting on airs they can’t back up. When you first pull up (and yeah, parking is actually pretty easy here, which is more than I can say for some of the places closer to the marina), it looks like your typical mid-range resort, but there’s something about the way the staff greets you that tells you they’re not just going through the motions.

The thing about this place is it sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything that matters – I mean, you can walk to some decent local restaurants in about ten minutes, and the beach access is actually better than what you’ll find at some of the fancier places down the coast. The rooms themselves are, well, they’re 3-star rooms, so don’t expect marble everything, but they’re clean and the AC works properly (trust me, in Hurghada heat, that’s not always a given). What surprised me was how quiet it gets at night – you know how some hotels have that constant hum of pool pumps and late-night chatter echoing off the buildings? Not really an issue here, probably because of how the buildings are positioned.

You know what really sold me on this place though? The breakfast spread actually changes up throughout the week, and they’ve got this one guy who makes fresh juice blends that aren’t on any menu – just ask him what’s good that day. Plus, if you’re planning to do any of the Red Sea diving or snorkeling trips, the tour operators know this place and pickup is never a hassle. The pool area gets busy around mid-morning when families settle in, but if you’re an early riser like me, you’ve got the place to yourself for a good hour or two. I mean, for the price point and that 8-rating it’s pulling, Princess Resort 425 B delivers exactly what it promises – no nasty surprises, decent comfort, and you’re not paying for a bunch of fancy stuff you probably won’t use anyway. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax without constantly wondering if you should’ve spent more money somewhere else.
