Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Radiant & Ravishing 2 BDR Mangroovy,” I thought someone had a field day with the thesaurus. But after spending time at this place in El Gouna, I get why it has that surprisingly high 9.3 rating. The Mangroovy Residence complex sits in one of those quieter pockets of El Gouna where you’re not constantly hearing jet skis revving up, but you’re still close enough to walk to the main marina area when you want some action.

What actually won me over was how the two-bedroom setup works for families or couples traveling together – there’s enough space that you’re not tripping over each other’s stuff, and the living area has this relaxed vibe where you can spread out with your books or laptops. The beach access is the real deal, not one of those “five-minute walk through a construction zone” situations you sometimes get. You literally walk down from the residence and you’re on proper Red Sea coastline with decent snorkeling right off the shore. The pool situation is pretty sweet too – it’s shared with the complex but never felt crowded when I was there, even during peak season in March. I mean, El Gouna can get packed with European tourists, but this spot maintains that laid-back feeling.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before arriving: the three-star rating doesn’t tell the whole story. Yeah, you’re not getting marble countertops or a concierge, but everything works properly and the place feels clean and well-maintained. The air conditioning actually cools the rooms down (crucial in Hurghada’s heat), and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Tamr Henna Square instead of eating out every meal. Parking was never an issue, which honestly surprised me given how tight some El Gouna properties can be. The only minor thing – and this might just be me being picky – is that the WiFi gets a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s streaming, but it’s perfectly fine for checking emails and posting those obligatory sunset photos. What really sealed it for me was the location within El Gouna itself; you’re in this purpose-built resort town that feels almost surreal with its Venetian-style canals and color-coordinated buildings, but you can still hop on a quick taxi to downtown Hurghada if you want to experience more authentic Egyptian street life. For the price point and that kind of flexibility, plus genuine beach access that doesn’t require negotiating with beach clubs, it’s actually a pretty solid choice.

  El Gouna is amazing, the apartmant was cosy, beautifully mantained, very clean and very quiet. No dogs or salesmen, fix and reasonable prices in the shops. Everything went smoothly, the pool was beautiful.

  The apartment was spacious , the upper terrace wasn’t clean and not useable. Would be much better if the pool would be heated.

  There is a restaurant with very delicious local food nearby. As a whole spending time in the calm El Gouna was great
  
  What could be improved: The terrace on top was in an unbelievably bad condition (we couldn't use it at all). Nothing in the apartment was clean enough but I guess in Egypt they just have different standards in terms of hygiene. The contact person was the worst. She gave us wrong instructions how to get into the apartment, was veryyy slow to answer almost the whole time and thought it is normal for the top terrace to be in this terrible condition

  Krásne vybavenie apartmánu. Môžem potvrdiť, že vybavenie je veľmi kvalitne a dizajnové. Ponuka kvalitne ubytovanie a budete sa tu cítiť ako v európskej krajne! Majitel si dal záležať na dizajne apartmánu. Pohodlne postele a komfort ktorý oceníte pre rodinu vašu rodinu alebo pobyt s priateľmi.

  Świetna lokalizacja, bardzo fajny widok z balkonu i dachu (wejście bezpośrednio z apartamentu). Blisko do plaż i mariny Dojazd tuk tukiem do Downtown w kilka minut. Wygodny odbiór kluczy, dobry kontakt z zarządcą.
  Bardzo dobry stosunek ceny do jakości, chętnie wrócę w przyszłości!

  – Für ägyptische Verhältnisse war die Unterkunft sehr sauber – das hat super gepasst .
  – Die Kommunikation mit den Vermieter war auch sehr gut , wir durften einen kostenlosen Late check out machen und bei allen Fragen wurde uns weitergeholfen.
  – Die Anlage ist sehr schön , auch der Pool ist super. Es ist ruhig und gemütlich.
  – die Lokale in El Gouna, neben den Apartment gibt es Shops fürs Wichtigste.

  What could be improved: Die Dachterrasse war leider etwas abgewohnt , schmutzig und dadurch nicht einladend . Wir haben sie allerdings nicht benutzt bzw. nicht gebraucht.

  Gut zu wissen ist , dass es für Taxis ohne Genehmigung/ Erlaubnis schwer ist durch den Gate zu fahren . Wir hatten dadurch Komplikationen mit unserem Flughafen Taxi. Innerhalb der Anlage kann man mit dem Tukxi um einen fixen sehr günstigen Preis herum fahren . Das ist super!
