You know what caught me off guard about this place? It’s actually tucked away in one of Hurghada’s newer developments – the Sheraton Plaza building on Sheraton Road – and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone. But stepping into unit 414 on the fourth floor, I mean, this is exactly what you want when you’re tired of those cookie-cutter resort experiences along the Red Sea.

The balcony here is the real deal, and I’m not talking about some tiny ledge where you can barely fit a chair. You’ve got proper space to spread out, and the view gives you this great perspective of the marina area that’s been growing like crazy over the past few years. The pool situation is pretty sweet too – it’s not enormous, but it’s clean and actually gets decent sun throughout the day (which matters more than you’d think in some of these newer buildings where they squeeze everything together). What really impressed me was the WiFi speed – and I say this as someone who’s dealt with painfully slow connections all over Egypt. They weren’t kidding about the “fast” part, which is clutch if you’re trying to upload photos or video chat with folks back home.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room. Kitchen’s fully equipped (though you’ll want to hit up the local markets for supplies – there’s a good one about ten minutes away), and the whole setup just feels… lived-in, you know? Not sterile. The air conditioning works properly, which – trust me on this – is not something you take for granted in Hurghada during the summer months. I was there in July and never felt like I was melting, even during those brutal afternoon hours. The building’s pretty quiet too, which surprised me given how close you are to the main action. Check-in was straightforward, though you’ll want to coordinate arrival times since it’s not a traditional hotel front desk situation. The owner was responsive when I had questions, and honestly, that personal touch makes a difference when you’re navigating a new area. Location-wise, you’re close enough to walk to the marina restaurants and cafes, but far enough from the main tourist strip that you’re not dealing with constant noise and crowds. It’s sort of the best of both worlds – easy access to everything but still feels like you’ve got your own space to decompress.

  The flat is superbly located very close to the New Marina and also shops and cafes on Sheraton Road. There is also a large supermarket just around the corner. Despite this there is very little noise as the flat faces the inner courtyard with a view of the pool below from the balcony. The WiFi was free and very good by Egyptian standards. The property was clean and comfortable. The host is always very quick to respond to any queries. We have stayed here many times now and will do so again.

  Location was excellent. Close to main street in Hurghada with all amenities and a large supermarket just around the corner but also set back from the street and overlooking the inner courtyard and pool so also very quiet. The WiFi was very good and included in the price. The apartment was clean and it was just perfect for our needs. We have stayed here several times now and will certainly be returning.

  The location is very central and convenient, yet is set back from the main, very busy Sheraton Road and therefore quiet. There is a supermarket just round the corner. The Wi-Fi is reliable and the best we have had here in Egypt. The apartment is clean and tidy with 24 hour security. Just perfect for our needs. We have stayed here and in the neighbouring apartment 415 four times now and have just booked our next stay, so we are obviously very happy with this accommodation.

  Excellent location with supermarket, restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance and close to the New Marina. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable (which seems to be a rarity here in our experience). The apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet as it is situated just off the busy Sheraton Street. This is our third stay in Sheraton Plaza and we will definitely be returning.

  The apartment is what you see is what you get. The location is great. Overall nothing wrong with this.
  
  What could be improved: I first book apartment 305, but found out there was no WiFi. So I canceled that reservation and book this one at nearly double the price. Once we were in the apartment and shown around , we were casually informed that the WiFi is not working and that the telecom company is coming to fix it. We'll 2 days later still nothing and no comms or plan. Only received a vague response when I enquired.

  What could be improved: If you want to check in earlier make sur to send him a message directly. My flight arrived at 9am and I received an automatic message saying that they cannot accommodate but Raph was there at the hotel and it could have been possible to arrive earlier.

  Goed ingericht en praktisch appartement.
  Degelijk bed, goede opbergruimte. Veel spiegels aanwezig. Kleine maar praktische badkamer.
  Goede haardroger. Alle apparaten voor de keuken aanwezig.
  Grote vuilbak ter beschikking aan de liften zodat je niet ver moet lopen met je vuilniszak.
  Als terugkerende gast ook beloond geweest.
  
  What could be improved: Afwasmiddel en keukenhanddoek zouden voorradig moeten zijn. Gelukkig is er om de hoek supermarkt.
