So here’s the thing about Red Sea Panorama – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but honestly, it’s got something that a lot of the big resort chains in Hurghada are missing. I mean, you’re staying in what’s essentially a residential apartment building in Selina Bay, which sounds weird until you realize that’s actually kind of perfect. The location is this sweet spot where you’re away from the chaos of the main tourist strip but still close enough to everything that matters.

The apartment itself (yeah, it’s more apartment than hotel room) is on the third floor of building B, and look – the elevator works most of the time, but I’d mentally prepare for some stairs just in case. What really gets me is the view though. They called it “Panorama” for a reason, and from that third floor perch, you’re looking out over the Red Sea in a way that feels more authentic than those cookie-cutter resort balconies. The furniture is… well, it’s functional. Think of it as your Egyptian aunt’s spare bedroom, but with better linens and a kitchenette that actually comes in handy when you want to store those mangoes you bought at the local market.

You know what I love about this place? It forces you to experience Hurghada like someone who actually lives here, not just passes through on a tour bus. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – there’s a little grocery store downstairs where the owner will remember your name by day three, and the call to prayer echoes differently here than in the hotel zones. It’s quieter at night too, which is golden if you’re one of those people who can’t sleep through the constant party noise that drifts from the big resorts. The beach access isn’t right outside your door, but honestly, a five-minute walk to avoid the crowds is worth it. Plus, the local taxi drivers know the building, so you’re not doing that awkward “it’s the third building past the…” conversation every time you want to head out. The 7.4 rating makes sense – it’s not fancy, but it delivers on what it promises, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re more interested in exploring the Red Sea than lounging by an infinity pool with a hundred other tourists.

  After leaving our first booking (with a different place due to last minute emergency decisions) we was very quickly met and accommodated by this host .The space in the hotel was spacious. Enough room for a family . Suitable for young children. Air-conditioning in every room . Great facilities for all your needs. And the host is very helpful and accommodating. The view was amazing. I would recommend this place to everyone. This place made the holiday perfect. 5 minute walk to the beach and sea.

  Good size, clean and comfortable. Very nice complex and lovely views. It included clean linen, towels and toilet paper on arrival (not always a given in Egypt!). There were also a couple of bottles of water and a plate of fruit in the fridge to welcome you. The host Mohamed was very nice to deal with
  
  What could be improved: Really not much to dislike to be honest. There were some marks on the walls, but just normal wear and tear, and some furnishings were starting to look a bit worn I.e. a bit sun bleached. Nothing that would put me off staying again. The Arena beach club and restaurant onsite is nice and the food okay, but relatively expensive and the menu never changes. You can use other resort’s restaurants, but there’s nothing great so you have to take a taxi (which are cheap) for some variety. Medusa restaurant (15 mins walk) is a nice alternative

  Der Eigentümer war nett, freundlich, zuverlässig und sehr hilfsbereit.
  
  Die Unterkunft war genau wie auf den Bildern.
  
  Das Gebäude befindet sich in einer ruhigen Straße und war sauber, ebenso der Innenraum. Jedes Zimmer hatte eine Klimaanlage und einen Fernseher. Es gab eine Waschmaschine und alles hat gut funktioniert.

  Die perfekte Ausstattung in der Wohnung – alles war vorhanden und funktionierte. Der freundliche Empfang durch den Eigentümer Mohammed. Der Willkommens-Früchteteller im Kühlschrank. Die wunderschöne Anlage.
  
  What could be improved: Der AC konnte nicht heizen. Aber dies wusste ich bereits im Vorfeld, sodass ich darauf vorbereitet war. Wenn in den Wintermonaten noch eine Heizmöglichkeit bestünde, dann wäre das Apartment perfekt!

  Дружелюбный хозяин квартиры. Красивый вид с балкона. Не далеко от моря. Есть бассейны. В квартире не было жарко. Есть все необходимое для долгого проживания, но уже не в самом хорошем состоянии. Было тихо, не слышно соседей, но это думаю по ситуации. Квартира большая. Удобные кровати.
  
  What could be improved: Когда заселялись, было очень грязно в квартире. Чьи-то волосы в постели, а так же на полу. Грязное постельное белье. Крошки на стульях, и полу. Нет пылесоса в квартире. Дополнительную уборку не предоставили нам. Решили убрать квартиру сами, что бы можно было жить в ней, и не было ощущения что заехали после кого то. Перестирали сами все сразу. Т.к. у одеяла нет пододеяльника.
  В момент заселения заметили что бойлер горячей воды течет, указали на это. Но сантехника не прислали. В итоге в один день при возвращении в квартиру, обнаружили что шланг от бойлера лопнул и хорошо что это была холодная вода, заливала всю ванную. Ремонт сделали спустя 2-3 дня поломки.
  Квартира уже изношенная, есть повреждения и грязь от предыдущих жильцов.
  При заселении запросили депозит (но весь вернули по итогу). Хотя об этом ни кто не предупреждал и не было написано.
  Не очень стабильный интернет в квартире. В дальней комнате он практически не ловит. И время от времени пропадал.
  Ближайший нормальный магазин в 4км от квартиры. В округе особо делать нечего. Но ничего, в египте дешевое таксти.
  В один день пропало электричество во всем доме на 5 часов, а может и больше, с утра было это.
