You know what? RITA HOUSE SEA VIEW doesn’t try to be fancy, and honestly, that’s exactly why it works so well. I mean, the name pretty much tells you everything – it’s on Sheraton Road right in the thick of Hurghada’s center, and yes, you actually get those sea views they promise. The building sits on Metro street, which sounds way more metropolitan than it actually is, but the location is genuinely solid for getting around.

The thing about this place is it feels like someone’s well-kept family guesthouse that just happens to have a decent booking system. You’ll walk in and immediately notice it’s clean without being sterile – there’s character in the slightly mismatched furniture and the way the lobby smells faintly of jasmine tea and that particular Egyptian cleaning product that’s somehow both floral and practical. The 8.2 rating makes total sense once you spend a night here because they nail the basics: reliable AC (crucial in Hurghada, trust me), hot water that actually stays hot, and beds that don’t creak every time you roll over. The sea view rooms are on the upper floors, and while you might catch a glimpse of a construction crane or two in your photo, the actual Red Sea stretching out beyond is pretty spectacular, especially around sunset when the water turns this incredible shade of turquoise-gold.

What I really appreciated was how the staff – there’s usually this older gentleman at the front desk during evenings who knows every taxi driver in a five-block radius – actually seems to care about whether you’re having a decent time. They’ll tell you which restaurants nearby won’t overcharge tourists (hint: walk two blocks away from the main hotel strip) and where to catch the local microbus if you want to explore beyond the resort bubble. The location puts you within walking distance of the old souk area, which gets incredibly lively after 8 PM, though fair warning – it can get a bit noisy on weekend nights when locals are out celebrating. Parking isn’t really an issue since most people don’t rent cars here anyway, but there’s space if you do. For a 3-star place, it punches above its weight simply by being genuine rather than trying to fake luxury it can’t deliver. The breakfast is Egyptian-style with fresh bread and strong coffee, the WiFi works in most corners of the building, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hidden fees or surprise charges that seem to plague half the hotels in tourist-heavy areas. It’s the kind of place you’d actually recommend to someone who wants to experience Hurghada without breaking the bank or feeling like they’re staying in a soulless chain hotel.

  Irina was 24 from 24 hours available for questions and if something was needed. An extraordinary person, dedicated to her guest and making efforts to offer their stay as pleasant as possible.
  
  The apartment has everything you need. It is clean, nothing is missing from what a guest could want. There is in a central location, with supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes nearby.
  
  The Rita and Panda apartments are in the same building. Rita is more spacious, on the last floor (4th) and Panda is intimate, on the first floor. The building has elevator.
  
  What could be improved: For me, as a sensitive person and having troubles with the sleep, the street where the apartment is located was very noisy in the night.
