You know what really struck me about Sabina when I first walked in? The space actually feels like someone’s home, not just another rental unit. I mean, yeah, it’s technically an apartment on El Gouna 1 Road, but whoever furnished this place put real thought into it – there’s art on the walls that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel supply catalog, and the kitchen has those little touches that tell you someone who actually cooks set it up.

The ground floor thing is honestly perfect if you’re like me and get tired of dragging luggage up stairs in the heat. Plus, you get this nice little outdoor area where you can sit with your morning coffee before the day gets too hot – and trust me, in El Gouna, that happens fast. The location puts you right in the heart of things without being on top of the busy marina strip, so you get the best of both worlds. It’s maybe a five-minute walk to the main lagoon area where all the restaurants and bars are, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the party noise at night. I actually slept really well here, which doesn’t always happen when I’m staying somewhere new.

What I really appreciated was how well-equipped everything was – and I don’t just mean the obvious stuff like air conditioning (which works great, by the way). The kitchen has proper cookware if you want to grab some fresh fish from the market, there’s good water pressure in both bathrooms, and honestly, the WiFi was better than what I have at home. The bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into each other, and there’s plenty of storage space, which is something you don’t always think about until you need it. The whole place feels like it’s been lived in and loved, not just maintained by a cleaning service – there are books on the shelves, decent hangers in the closets, that sort of thing.

El Gouna itself is this sort of artificial paradise that could feel totally fake, but somehow it works. The whole town was basically built from scratch in the desert, but they did it thoughtfully – there are canals and lagoons everywhere, and you can walk or bike pretty much anywhere you need to go. From Sabina, you’re close enough to the main downtown area to grab dinner at one of the nicer restaurants (Sakura for sushi, or Casa Blanca if you want something more upscale), but you can also easily get to the quieter residential areas if you just want to wander around and see how the locals live.

The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be a five-star resort, but it delivers exactly what it promises and then some. The check-in was smooth, the place was spotless, and when I had a minor issue with the TV remote, someone came by within an hour to fix it. That’s the kind of service that makes you want to come back, you know? If you’re looking for a base to explore the Red Sea area without paying resort prices, this is honestly one of the better options I’ve found.

  This apartment is very comfortable, great value for money and in a good, secure location 15-20 minutes walk from downtown and 45 minutes from Abu Tig marina. TukTuks are plentiful and Uber is also available too. The highlight for us was the huge terrace for relaxing in the warm sunshine. The communal pool is only a few steps away but we preferred to chill on the terrace. Visited several great bars and restaurants (Chicha being our favourite) and can recommend the Lagona Spa for massages and Ocean Diva catamaran for snorkeling trips. This wasn't our first visit to El Gouna and I'm sure it won't be our last and we would return to this apartment

  I recently stayed in this apartment in El Gouna and it exceeded all of my expectations. The apartment was significantly larger than most I’ve seen in this area, providing ample space and comfort. The highlight of the stay was the incredibly large terrace, perfect for relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful views. The overall experience was lovely and I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a spacious and delightful stay in El Gouna.

  The apartment was very clean and provided all necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable and the host was very helpful and accommodating…also the location of the unit in Gouna is close to both down town area and Marina area and the view on the lake is amazing and access to shared pool is just at the door step of the apartment and definitely a great value for money…highly recommended to all guests
