This little apartment completely caught me off guard in the best way possible. The location is actually perfect if you know Sahl Hasheesh at all – you’re right there on the beachfront without dealing with the madness of downtown Hurghada, which can get pretty overwhelming during peak season.

The apartment itself feels way more spacious than what you’d typically get in this price range. I mean, it’s a proper one-bedroom setup, not one of those cramped hotel rooms where you’re tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. What really got me was stepping out onto that balcony in the morning – you’ve got this unobstructed view of the Red Sea that honestly rivals what I’ve seen at some of the fancy resorts down the coast. The sound of the waves is constant but not annoying, you know? It’s that perfect white noise that actually helps you sleep better. And speaking of sleep, the bedroom stays surprisingly cool even during the day, which is crucial when you’re dealing with Hurghada’s summer heat.

Here’s what I really appreciated – the kitchen is actually functional. I know that sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places just give you a mini-fridge and call it a day. Being able to grab fresh fruit from the local market (there’s one about ten minutes away if you head inland) and actually prepare it properly made such a difference. The Wi-Fi works well enough for video calls, which was important since I was working remotely for part of my stay. Parking was never an issue, though I’d recommend asking about the best spots when you check in – the front desk folks are genuinely helpful, not just going through the motions like at some places.

The beach access is where this place really shines. You’re literally a two-minute walk from some of the clearest water I’ve encountered along this stretch of coastline. It’s not one of those touristy beaches packed with vendors – it’s quieter, more local feeling. Perfect for morning swims before the day heats up. I noticed the water stays relatively calm here compared to some of the northern beaches, which makes it great for snorkeling if that’s your thing.

What surprised me most was how this 9.3 rating actually felt earned rather than inflated. The place is clean without being sterile, comfortable without trying too hard to be fancy. There are little touches that show someone actually cares – decent coffee in the welcome package, extra towels without having to ask, that sort of thing. The only minor downside is that grocery delivery can be hit or miss to this area, so I’d stock up when you’re out exploring rather than counting on having stuff brought to you.

Bottom line – if you want that beachfront experience in Hurghada without paying resort prices or dealing with crowds, this apartment delivers. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax and feel like you’re experiencing the area rather than just passing through it.
